Why am I not allowed to get change at this gas station, to pay for a service on said gas station premises? I wanted to pay 1$ extra on my fuel bill for the tire air pump and then I'm told "We don't do Cash Back". I told the employee, it was for the air pump but it didn't seem to matter. Why on earth would you not let me get change for the air machine, out of which you can get that same change back and inconveniencing me? (FYI paying with card never works)

A gas station that accepts Japanese credit cards, something you don't often see in America.
The usage is the same as in Japan. At the end, you will be asked if you need a receipt, so please select if you do.
Inside the store, there are Mexican cashiers and Mexican subs and sandwiches.
