We have had such a great experience with this school. My son transferred from another montessori to Mountainside in 2nd grade. He has grown immensely over the last 3 years, loves going to school each day, and there is a wonderful level of respect between the staff and the students. He has also developed a great love for the outdoors, and I attribute that to Mountainside’s mission. We are excited to start our toddler and watch her thrive.

This school is highly selective and for good reason. I would recommend that you start your kids here as young as possible so that they can be indoctrinated early on into the Mountainside Method. There is a strict manner of teaching and learning here so the younger the better, in order to mold the minds of both the students and their parents. Please don't consider thinking outside the box because that would be offensive. Fall in line or look elsewhere.

A fantastic educational experience in a bucolic setting. Our son loves it there.

I can't say enough good things about this school. My son has gone here since he was four, he is now almost 10 and just finished 4th grade. Every teacher he's had there has really tried to understand his personality and his individual learning style. He is performing above grade level but more importantly he loves going to school and loves the sense of community he feels there.

We absolutely LOVE Mountainside! Our daughter has gained so much from the toddler program, and we are excited to continue to watch her grow there. It has been a perfect fit for our family!

Our daughter has been a student at Mountainside Montessori for the past 4 years, and will continue her education here for years to come! Ms. Edel, the founder, genuinely cares about the children and the quality of education they receive here. We’re a community of amazing families who support our guides & the learning environment. Situated on a 10 acre farm, it is truly a unique place to learn & grow.

My child and a friends child were both kicked out. If you don't conform to the cookie cutter you are out. They are not equipped to really shape a child.
