“To Tristin and the team at the Marshall Post Office

We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank our Postal Carrier, Tristin, for his incredible dedication and service.
His commitment to making sure we always receive our mail and packages is truly impressive and impeccable. Tristin is professional, yet friendly, honest, and easy-going—we honestly feel like we hit the jackpot with him delivering our route! We truly appreciate his hard work.
We'd also like to extend our appreciation to the Marshall Post Office staff, especially Stephanie and Carol, and everyone else who contributes to this great service…10/10!

Thank you,
Bill & Vickie”

“The post office in The Plains is anything but plain! What a charming building! The interior is so cool and vintage! The postal workers there were super friendly and informative! One of the post masters said he thought it was built in the 1930's, but I'll do some more research and give an update.I loved the brass mail boxes and the antique signage. Although it was a tad in disarray, with supplies hither and thither, I still say a 5***** for its unique building and old world charm! If you haven't been to the sleepy small town of The Plains, it's adorable and tiny but full of personality!Hours are 10:00-1:00/2:00-5:00 M-F, 10:00-12:00 Sat.”

“Stone cold eye appeal! Yes, this post office in Upperville literally rocks! Of all the post offices I've reviewed, (and I have tagged them all in a collection on Yelp) this building is my favorite to date, with Drewryville a close second! Built in 1807, this post office has been registered as a Virginia historic landmark. It's interesting to read the history of Alexander Spotswood appointed as deputy general postmaster of America. I love all the stone walls and architecture in this area near Winchester, Loudoun County, Clarke County and along the countryside. Keeping with the aesthetic of the era, Upperville post office doesn't disappoint. It's small structure packs a punch with an eyelid dormer perched on the roof, a wrought iron gate, stately wooden columns, surrounded by lush trees and foliage with a cozy wooden bench nestled amongst the beautiful landscaping. Inside is just as quaint as the outside. Old brass post boxes line the walls awaiting to be filled by the postman. This post office serves the community of Upperville and provides the typical services, although no passport service. The hours are M-F 9:00-12:00, 1:00-5:00 and Sat. 9:00-12:00. Whether you visit for mail supplies or services, or just to admire a touch of history, Upperville Post Office delivers!”

“This may be the greatest Post Office I have ever seen. Seriously! They have a historical train and cargo stop for the building. They also have history in their building with their PO Boxes and staff here 24 hours a week. They also support the community. They have a canned and boxed food option for those in need. They have a library for those seeking a book. That is real community!I thank and congratulate the USPS for the work done here that supports the community. I hope they get millions in business because they deserve it.Please buy your stamps here and stick a canned food in the cabinet for good measure!”
