Thanks Dale from west window corporation , Dale found me a window tilt latch from nearly 50 years ago these windows were installed and section 8 inspection was due by the first and the tilt latch was broken and wouldn’t pass I took the window to distributor and we looked online but couldn’t find the part to old , but then that person shown me the company from inner part of the window so I called and spoke to dale and at first couldn’t find a piece then next day Dale emailed said I may have the piece you need he mailed the piece free of charge and sure enough I installed it today and it was the one ! I made this review today to thank Dale he went above and beyond to help me and I wanted to show support and thank him he’s was really positive and helpful , thank you Dale and wwc ! Quality of windows met or exceeded expectations at installation, and still does in 95% of the windows. However, the customer service has been almost nonexistent concerning a couple warranty issues. Will not respond.

We built new home in 2003 and used West windows and within 5 years I had issues with almost all of the windows and doors that were installed by West windows from fogging between panes to hardware issues for lifting the windows up and down my windows are absolutely junk and I would never recommend them to anyone sorry but that’s the truth I contacted them several times and they would never do anything to fix them Don’t buy them!

Absolutely terrible customer service. My father brought in a window i had purchased from them to replace a single pane at 1130am and they said it wouldn't be ready until atleast the next day. A number was left to contact him when it was ready so he could go pick it up. He never received a call the entire day. I decided to go straight there after work the following day to check but their office closes early on fridays and they are closed the weekend. So for 5 nights my house was unsecure with a hole in it.

I just renovated my 1920s home in western Virginia and replaced all 18 of its original windows. I chose West Windows' Elite series and had an incredible local contractor (Forbes Carpentry - I recommend these guys every bit as strongly as I do these windows!) install them for me. I've seen all the best vinyl windows that Pella and Anderson have to offer, and these are much better built and finished just as nicely as Pella's top of the line vinyl products in terms of aesthetics. In terms of quality of build, West wins hands down. These windows are extremely easy to manipulate when opening and closing, or tilting the sashes for cleaning or removal. They indeed can be removed very easily, in case you had an accident, say, and broke the glass in one. It would make for very simple replacement - no contractor needed. Either sash can be removed in just seconds, by anybody. These sashes are also very thick. The space between the panes of glass is 1 inch, which enhances the thermal efficiency by increasing the amount of gas available as an insulator. The nail fin, which is what you hold to open the window, is much more aesthetically pleasing on these Elite series than on any other line of vinyl windows I've ever seen. Nothing on these looks cheap. The locks look nice and operate very well. I was delighted to find out that every one of my windows has two locks instead of one. The screens are almost invisible. I've never seen invisible screens before!I highly recommend them.You won't be sorry if you go with this company, but especially if you choose this line of window.

We visited the showroom and selected the Elite Windows with the half screen. The showroom was clean and well organized. The people working there were professional and very friendly. The quality of the windows is superb. The folks making the windows know their stuff! We had Darrell Watkins and his crew install our 18 windows. They are beyond a doubt the pinnacle of excellence! They worked like a well oiled machine! They got all 18 windows installed in one day and we were tickled pink with the results! I highly recommend West Windows and the Watkins crew for a hassle free experience you will love!

I've been using West Windows as my supplier of choice for residential windows for several years. There products are top notch and sales and customers service has been great. There are advantages to working with a small window company. Any company makes mistakes, but West has always been easy to work with and handles any issues that arise.
