This bar is located in a restaurant at Massanutten Resort's indoor/outdoor waterpark located about 700 feet below and a half-mile from where I live, so it's the closest bar to home. Haven't eaten here but they do have a wide variety of brews and can mix any drink you can name.

After a lovely day at the water park(from 11 -5) me and my family and I were hungry. We went to the only restaurant in the whole place. The drinks were fine and we ordered some hush puppies. It took 20 minutes to get 6 hush puppies!!! Then we went to the an aracade game in the restaurant called bullshots. With our last credits we played the game. We had six credits left. It asked for 2 more crefits to play the game. Just then it malfunction. We waited for what seemed like forever (with only 2 other tables full) we got our food. One order was padta with vegetables. We got pasta, and we got pasta with sheimp. The kids wheat lemon butter pasta was terrible. Then our check was wrong, and we waited 20 minutes to get it checked just to hear they have no idea what happened. Our waiter Sara was very nice and did an amazing job!Great job Sara:)

We had the chicken tenders and fries as well as some dip and dots. I would have rather a dip and dots container that wasn't small and full. Id rather big and not full so I don't drop any dots. ;)

While on vacation I visited this place twice for Bingo night and Trivia night. The first night we came in our waitress was very friendly and doing her best with many tables and a large party, however 4 out of 10 people did not receive any food after 30- 40 minutes of waiting we decided to cancel our orders and just pay for our drinks. The bar tender took about 10-15 min to have one drink ready (only one bar tender on staff is probably the issue) The second night we came in our food did come out faster and all of it made it to the table but the waitress would disappear for long periods of time and would take an order from two or three people at the table and then leave without addressing the whole table. The bar tender again took very long to prepare drinks and at the end of our meal the waitress kept our cards in the back for much too long before bringing them back she even came out to help her other tables while still having our cards in the back… not professional. Over all I think this restaurant could be very nice but from my two experiences here it was disappointing.

After a long ride new years eve we decided to eat here because they had karaoke going on. That was probably the best thing they had going on. Sat down and had 2 beers and watched 2 groups sit down and leave and another family who sat next to us get the food before us (all we ordered was burgers). The place was not packed at all but it took about 1 hours to get a basic not so great tasting expensive burger. Should have went with my first instinct and went to the restaurant by the slopes. (Order the Brothers Resolute Stout if you do as it's a thing of magic). You will do better buying your food and cooking it yourself and probably save $100 bucks.

Came here for New Years week and just left this morning. Dined at Splash’s on New Years Day. Definitely expected it to be busy so when the hostess told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait, it was not a big deal. She took our name and phone number and said they’d “call” us within the timeframe. Mind you, she took our phone number down. So we decided to walk around and kill time and take a peak at the water park until we were called. 20 minutes goes bye and nothing. So we go back upstairs to check. Only to find that she’s just physically calling out tables by name (not phone calling them). So multiple tables were sat before us even though our name was the first one she took down. When I brought it to her attention she simply just said “oh…I called you already”. Then proceeded to sit us anyways. The service besides that was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly and they were doing Bingo and offered us cards to play which was fun. My husband ordered a burger, I got the fried seafood platter (BIG mistake) and our son ordered the kids hotdog. Everything was good, paid and left. The reason behind the “big mistake” with ordering the seafood platter is that within 30-45 minutes after leaving and returning to our room, I was immediately hit with the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced in my life. Spent the whole night uncontrollably sick, the next day wasted in bed with stomach pains and constant throwing up.Mind you this was our FIRST full day at the resort. We did not return to any of the other onsite restaurants and stuck with eating offsite. If I ever do go back to Massanutten, I definitely will NOT be eating at any of their onsite restaurants again.I will also add that I did mention it to other staff members on a different day and just received a “oh nooo” as a response. For a restaurant that’s supposed to be mostly “seafood themed”, I would definitely stay away from the seafood.

We should have left when we walked up to the host station and there was a 10min wait for a place that was 1/2 empty. BUT because I was a server for 5 years I figured, maybe they are slowing down the service so they don’t overwhelm the kitchen. Our server showed up after we asked another server who was going to wait on us after about 10mins. When the gal did show up we asked her if she could front load some fries for our hungry toddler. We also asked for water and a couple of beers. The fries took quite a while and came out cold. Normally I’d send them back but my kid was hungry so we went with it. The server forgot our water so we asked her for waters again. She took our order a cob salad with blue cheese and a dozen oysters and left. While waiting for quite awhile for our order (which seemed simple to us) we drank our beers and asked for another round and I reminded the server to please bring us waters. She nodded and left. Our food came before our second round of beers with the wrong dressing and no spoon for preparing the oysters. So we asked the server for blue cheese, a spoon, and WATERS.She left… after about 10 mins she came back with a spoon blue cheese and ONE glass of water. I gave up on the water for me at this point. And I asked her where our beers were? It has been nearly 20 mins. She advised that there was only ONE bartender. (There were 2 people at the actual bar and by this point the restaurant was at 1/4 capacity) and I just sighed. What’s funny is I heard her ask another one of her tables if they liked their food and the gentleman politely said… “No, not really. It was not good” she just apologized and gave them their bill ??. Never saw a manager, never came over to them to see why.She asked us the same question and I just shrugged. We ran out of that place.Hit the local places. The resort restaurants are not good here and the management is non-existent.Which sucks because EVERYTHING else at Massanutten was on point.

I really wanted to like this place. My food was good, but that is not the case for the rest of our party. They described it as mediocre, at best. All that could have been forgiven, I suppose, but it took over an hour from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. Had they been super busy, that could have been understood but the place was only half full.I think it was a bit priceyer than it needed to be.The best thing about the experience was the staff. Very nice folks.Unfortunately, that didn't make up for the rest.

The hostess was so sweet, we asked to be sit near a TV for a special JMU game- she not only made sure we had the ultimate seat for the game, she also made sure we had a beautiful view overlooking the lights! The staff were friendly, courteous and made our experience great! Hidden gem!

After the light show at the park we decided to go and try this restaurant that was recommended. We had to wait awhile just to be greeted by a hostess. Then we were sat and wait easily over 15mins and not once greeted by a server or even acknowledged. We then watched as another group that showed up 5mins after us get seated and get helped with their order maybe a minute after being seated. We walked out and I still don’t think anyone noticed…. And to add they had maybe 5 tables if that.. Highly don’t recommend and will never be back.

Approximately 4 tables being served. We were sat right away. Waiting 15 minutes or more no one came to our table. So we got up and left. Should of kept it the blue ridge buffet, always had a good experience. This time around horrible.
