Was enjoying the race cars until I started to get motion sickness. Not their fault but they offered to give me a refund which I appreciated. I will probably go back again and try something else.

Fun and challenging room for the entire family. With minimal clues, we finished the room with more than enough time to spare. The host, Trinity, was exceptional

This is a fun place. The Lost Jewel of Zanzibar is a good challenge. We were able to finish it. The VR games are fun. Played a military shooter, a zombie shooter and a pirate game, as well as a racing game. I could spend a couple of hours playing all the different games but you get 30 minutes. You pick the game out of a booklet. The downside was that one of the machines wasn't functioning properly.

Had some problems initially with the computers but they got it fixed and took care of us! They even gave us some extra time to make up for the issues. Definitely recommend guys working in there were awesome!

There were 5 in our party, 2 others joined in per their staff. The room was too small for this many people.

It was my first time EVER doing a virtual reality game and it was AWESOME!!! I tried a both the cars and the stand up. The stand up was DEFINITELY better for me. I kicked some ZOMBIE behind!! ?? I would DEFINITELY recommend trying it. David the associate that helped me and my friend was very nice and helpful.

I just stayed at Massanutten Resort last week, and during the stay decided to do an escape room on site with some of my family. As a group, we're pretty experienced with escape rooms, and like challenges, so read this review from a perspective of someone who has done many escape rooms. First, our game manager and every employee we interacted with were wonderful. They were cheerful, courteous, and quick to respond to any concerns we had. We played the Zanzibar escape room. After a comprehensive introduction to the room, we started. Comparing Zanzibar to other escape rooms, I'd rate the decor and experience as moderate to slightly below average. There were signs that several props had been written on (a wall map had some marker that was not quite erased that could potentially give clues), and several items looked like they needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, a key prop was broken that inhibited the game, and required an employee to give us the clue manually in order to continue. Kudos to the employee for making it right, but bummer that it wasn't fixed or repaired. We finished the room in 26 minutes, and while I won't reduce a rating because of the relative ease of the room, you should keep that in mind if you're really looking for a challenge. A side note - the room puzzles were plentiful enough that all our group was busy the whole time. Again, overall, my experience with all employees was great, but the room could do with some proper maintenance in order to make it more immersive and fun.

I don’t see how you can keep a room open if %85 of the room is broken. Absolutely do not recommend voodoo island room. Don’t go
