What I liked is the fresh baked white bread they use on the sandwiches. They have have a unique maple potato salad with red potatoes and sweet potatoes. They have some different canned foods. I chose the raspberry jalapeño jelly. They do a variety of maple thongs there. They also have maple you can buy.

I broke down going through the mountains from the beach on a Sunday and the owner helped us out. he called the local mechanic at home and let my family sit at a table in his store while my truck was getting fixed. they also have the best deli sandwiches with fresh bread. Very friendly and helpful.

Awesome store great people! If I am ever back in that part of Virginia I will definitely stop back bye! They saved me today, I was about to run out of fuel they accepted my fleet card and got me back on the road! Once again thank y'all very much!

This place is run by Mennonites. In my experience, generally friendly people, and the staff and owner excel. Great, smiling, friendly service. The sandwiches are amazing, which kind of makes me want to live in their deli. Prices are very reasonable, which is unusual for rural stores in VA, but I'm not complaining! They also carry Hunt Bros pizza and baked goods. The gas pumps are old school, pull the level, pump, then go inside and pay. I love this place because it reminds me of this spot my father always took me to when going hunting. If you're passing by, stop and grab a sandwich and shoot the breeze with some locals. You won't regret it!
