Checked out this vineyard while traveling to Massanutten. The wine was just meh; didn’t blow us away. The dry white wine flight had some interesting flavor profiles, but our group preferred just the Rose and Viognier of the five. All five of the wines in the dry red flight tasted pretty much the same and sadly, didn’t impress. The property was located in a beautiful area, with the owner’s stately home next door to the tasting room. Beware walking around the property; if you stray too close to the owner’s house (no signage around telling you that you’ve strayed too far) you will be asked to leave while a Great Dane growls at you. A simple sign or a fence demarcating the public property from private would solve this problem. Loved the time spent with my family, but the scolding we received left a sour taste in my mouth.

My initial visit was for a casual work function. Upon arriving, I was immediately struck with how expansive their dining room was. Beautiful hardwood floors filled with endless tables. There was a lovely little sitting area in the lobby that was graced by their Great Dane lounging in a high backed armchair. There is also a tasting room. I was a bit taken aback by the bar situation. There was only one person taking people’s orders as they waited in what became quite a long line. The bar itself was for serving only, with no stools for sitting. A nice variety of wines and hard ciders were available for purchase. They offer two levels of wine flights, based on quality, of red, white, and sweet wines.
As you enter from the parking area, there is a nice patio area with several tables. Leaving the bar/lobby area, there are several double doors that open onto a massive tiered, flagstone patio complete with umbrellas providing a bit of shade. There is a beautiful, massive fireplace on the patio to use in cooler weather. Groups of 10 or more do require a credit card reservation. I observed many guests bringing in their own picnic type food items, including my group. Outside alcohol is not allowed. I question whether there is food available to purchase throughout the day, but I don’t believe so.
Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome, as are children.

Fairly good wines with beautiful views. Sadly the views out front were the prettiest.

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely recommend this venue!! The reception space is classic, timeless, and able to transform into whatever you have planned! The owners are incredibly kind and gracious, they have always welcomed my couples into their home for photos, been accommodating, professional, and truly a delight for myself (as a vendor) to work with! Classic elegance all around.- Rebecca Crosby Photography

My Husband and I stopped by while on our honeymoon to Massanutten. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING this place. Everyone is very nice and welcoming, very educated in their wines. Prices are amazing for the quality of the wines. I ordered a flight of the sweet and let me tell you lol AMAZING! I walked out with a bottle of “lil em”. Also the view in the back patio of the mountains was beautiful.

This place is worth a visit just to see Wyatt. However, stick around for the wine as well. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and willing to share info about the wine and location. We tried a few of the flights and will make sure to visit any time we're staying at Massanutten.

I enjoyed my time here. The wine is good and it has beautiful countryside but the employees at the front at very, very slow. It caused some annoyance.

I can’t say enough great things. This place is drop dead gorgeous, the staff is the most friendly people I have ever met. We were visiting from Florida and I would come back just to come here. The wine is amazing and so happy I was able to meet Wyatt. We hope to come back soon :)

Wine was fantastic! Staff were lovely. Wyatt (the dog) was stoic and awesome. Good selection of snacks. They have good outdoor sitting with cornhole set in the front and the back. And dogs are welcome. Do not sleep on the white wines! Would 10/10 go back :)

Brix and Columns hosts an amazing wedding! It’s a beautiful property during all seasons. The wine is delicious and the views are spectacular. It was also interesting to learn how the estate, farm, and vineyard are inspired by Jeffersonian history and architecture. This place is a gem!
