I’ve never been to an Abercrombie store as inefficient and devoid of customer service as this one. There are NEVER more than 2 people working the checkout despite the line being 30-40 people deep. When you complain, they say “I know” and continue to do nothing about it. I haven’t seen one person working the floor since arriving. Not shopping here anymore. Don’t waste your time.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, when I walked in the store, there were no staff members even on the floor to assist customers and there was only one person on the register with the line nearly towards the back of the store. Second, like some others have mentioned here, I went to exchange an online order of jeans for a different size. The girl on the register, a young Asian girl, said she would re-order them since they’re not carried in-store. Great. However, she then told me my size was sold out so I left the store. However, upon leaving the mall I went on A&F’s website…turns out, my size was NOT sold out. While checking me out at the register both she and the other young white womanly with curly brown hair were rolling their eyes at another customer - seems like they don’t want to be employed or assist customers. I called the store back after I left the mall to inform them of the situation and I spoke to Christof, who was not helpful at all. I made a trip all the way out to Tysons and now the suggestion is that I simply re-order and hope I’m not charged for shipping because one of A&F’s staff either doesn’t know how to work their website or because she didn’t want to serve me, for reasons I have to assume have to do with A&F’s racist/classist reputation. I wouldn’t recommend anyone shop here. No assistance and absolutely horrible customer service. Since I’m deploying soon, I won’t even have the opportunity to fix this.

The reviews are true, this location is AWFUL. I had the WORST customer service experience at the Tyson’s location. No one offered to assist with sizing, no one offered a stock check, everyone INCLUDING THE MANAGER was so rude! I’ve worked at Abercrombie for YEARS and managed a store in California and this would never fly under my watch. I made a large purchase at the kids store yesterday and am returning everything. There’s a reason this brand is doing so poorly, do better - much much better. Never returning and I’m going to suggest no one shops at this location.

I came to this store to exchange jeans. I had ordered the wrong size as this was my first Abercrombie purchase. A lovely young woman with brown hair in a braid with glasses helped me find the right jeans and sizes.When I went to the check out she was not there. At 1:28pm on December 16 a young Caucasian man with brown hair wearing a sweatshirt with Brooklyn across the chest checked me out. I could tell off the bat he didn’t want to help me do my exchange by the attitude he was giving me.I explained that I had found my sizes and wanted to order my pants in the correct one. He snapped at me he needed something to type into his scanner. I thought this was odd as I had already handed him the receipt that came with the order, which had the names of the jeans on there and there sku numbers.I did not argue. I opened my email and showed him the images and names of the jeans I had bought from my order. He then looked up the first one and basically said oh, it’s sold out, but had not clicked on my correct size. I know this because after he said sold out he showed it to me and it was the wrong size. He then tried the next one and claimed it was also sold out, but when I looked at the thing and clicked the number of the correct size, it was not completely sold out. At this point, I could tell he just wanted me to go, so I said thank you I will just go and took my stuff and left and he said OK next customer.After having such an amazing experience with the young woman who helped me find the jeans I was shocked at how hostile and unhelpful he was. As this was my first Abercrombie and Fitch experience I really think they need to work on their customer service if they want to get new customers.

Waiting in huge line to make a return - quality of pants I ordered online is awful. One cashier chatting with 5 people in line and rest of the staff is screwing around in the sale section. Will never shop at A&F again! Terrible.

Went in to exchange online orders. Front cashier gentleman was slightly helpful. But fitting room gentleman completely ignored me, I didn’t realized he even worked there bc of unfriendly he was.. not even a greeting of “I’ll be right with u” or anything.. made me feel really disregarded. So I finally asked “can I go in?” He told me “no, wait…” and when I handed him back the pants, he just looked at me and grabbed them.. not even asking I wanted to try another size, if they fit okay, even though I heard him being more helpful to other customers..I felt extremely out of place and slightly discriminated against that I left with nothing.. wanted to get out of the store as soon I had that interaction.. really thought it would be a different experience.

Horrible experience. I came in a half hour before closing, but knew exactly what I wanted I only needed to try it on. As I was in the dressing room a rude male employee told me I needed to “wrap it up” five minutes before they closed. I was going to buy what I tried on, but felt so rushed I ended up not. I left, but realized I had forgotten my phone as I was being rushed out. When I went back I asked through the gate if someone would retrieve it for me. The same employee that rushed me and was rude handed it through the gate. I let him know that I felt he was being rude and that I was so rushed I completely forgot my phone. His only response as ill-mannered as he could make it was “you were taking your time” which I was taken back by considering I was going to buy the things I had tried on! He then turned his back to me and stomped away. When I asked for a manager I was only confronted with a female employee who gave me an ingenuine apology and wouldn’t even tell me if there was any other manager above her. Her demeanor was exactly like his. I have to come back due to not getting what I even came in for. To make matters worse no employees greeted/offered help and my husband had to get items for me as I was in the dressing room due to the dressing room employee only being rude and rushing us out. This incident happened 9/13/23 around 8pm to closing and I asked someone to please look further into it.

It took 30 minutes for anyone to talk to me to so much as greet me, and it was the fitting room attendant who had such low energy. I was willing to spend money there as I needed clothes for an event, but after the lack of any semblance of assistance, I walked out.

I recently went to the store to return a pair of pants that were the wrong size. I was initially greeted by a very friendly person who was having problems executing the exchange due to being unable to locate the sku. She then enlisted the help of her manager, Christoph/Cristoph (I hope I spelled that correctly). He was swift and effective identifying the issue, and exchanging the incorrect pair and ordering me the new pair all within minutes, making the procedure short and painless. This type of high-quality customer care is why I will continue to buy at Abercrombie and enjoy the products and value that it offers to its customers. To reiterate the manager is an excellent example of professionalism and class and I hope the company at a large notices that.

I came in yesterday to purchase two shirts.. it said it was on sale but I paid full price anyway.. I asked the cashier if it was on sale, he looked like he doesn't know anything and proceeded to ask his coworker right next to him. He looked absolutely miserable that he had to come to the register. His coworker had an extreme attitude and was super rude to him..telling him to scan it himself and saying other things. She even gave me a nasty look and said I don't know?? With the worst attitude. I didn't even do anything to her or say anything to her.. all I asked was a simple question to the associate in front of me. I was about to go off on her but I'm like nah, she will mess with the wrong person one day. I'm too nice.. Abercrombie pay your employees better and train them to be respectful of customers and other co-workers, unless it's part of your training to be a total b?? Awful. I understand working retail sucks, but that nasty attitude was uncalled for. I don't know her name but all I can describe her, is that she is East Asian. Reading the previous reviews, could be Christina.. not sure. Eventually y'all will go out of business, which it seems it's going there anyways. I'm never giving my business again to you all, that's for sure.

The fitting room attendant ( I believe her name was Christina) seemed so miserable to be there and help people. She also didn’t seem enthused when her coworker asked for assistance. Maybe she was having an off day, but it def hurt the environment. The store layout was also inconvenient. The product seemed limited to fewer pieces than usual, very boring collection.

Just read all the reviews and now it all makes sense. Clearly this place is poorly managed because all the employees look miserable and sounds miserable. I called in to ask a question about payment and I got one word answers for everything.

Kila (sorry if I misspelled that) was incredibly helpful with my exchange and return. She made the process incredibly easy and stress free and even saved me money in the process. I wish all stores had this kind of customer service.

Not a fan. I bought some stuff online to be picked up here. I got ready for pick up ready email on the 25th and went on the 1st of the following month to pick up. I called on the day before pick up to make sure it’s still there, I was told it should still be here since it hasn’t been 10 days since I got my email. They didn’t even bother to go to the back to check if it’s still there. Sure enough l, I went there to pick it up and was told my order was expired and the items are not there. Wasted 2 hours of my time round trip just because someone was so lazy to walk to the back of the store to check if my order was still there.

The employees in this store were rude today and had an attitude. I came to pick up a pick up order and the girl hands me this giant box that shipped into the store without even bothering to unpack it and put it in a bag. If I wanted to do shopping in any other store I'd have to lug a big box around. When I went to return the items after trying them on and seeing they didn't suit me, the girl at the cashier said "kay" and just generally did not seem friendly at all.
