Clunky app and abysmal customer service. After 6 weeks of them supposedly working on an issue I was having, they asked me what I was having a problem with. I called them out on that (but still reiterated the issue), and they haven’t responded to subsequent emails for the past 3 weeks.

I get 4-6 robocalls a day from these people. Why would I want anything from a company that hounds people with voice recognition software.

My experience echoes the concerns raised in the review posted by M***** C. I initially purchased my equipment years ago through Alarm.com, opting for a do-it-yourself installation via a different vendor of Alarm.com. That vendor, along with the monitoring company, has since become part of Brinks.com, a company with a concerning track record (as evidenced by their BBB rating).Alarm.com made an effort to disassociate itself from these disreputable third-party distributors in their response to the poster M***** C. . Initially, I did not believe that Alarm.com and Brinks were collaborating. However, when I attempt to avoid Brinks and reestablish my individual relationship with Alarm.com and went to their website seeking hardware and a new monitoring service, I discovered that Alarm.com's own website funneled me right back to Brinks.It is troubling to see that Alarm.com continues to direct customers toward these "bad apples" without proper vetting. This lack of awareness and oversight taints Alarm.com's reputation, making them complicit in the unethical business practices of the companies they associate with. Consequently, I can only give Alarm.com a 1-star rating, and caution those who wish to do business with them.

They are the company that hires the AI caller that doesn't allow you to unsubscribe.Been trying to stop the calls for years and still they persist.Even when you talk to a real person, and try to ask to be removed, they disconnect the call before you get the full request out.PLEASE go out of business and close your doors

Had a No show for Saturday appointment. My doorbell is always sending false Motion notifications. The sensitivity slider is not working in the app. Motion sensor just randomly goes crazy. They refuse to show up. Refuse to respond.

My alarm.com website password suddenly stopped working even though my iphone showed that the password I was using on the mobile app was working and was exactly the same. I tried Chrome and I tried Edge. I cleared my cache on both browsers still could not log in. I called customer support. We tried to change my password and it was not working for some reason. We were suddenly disconnected. No one contacted me back. Even though this is a major security concern not to have website access. I called back and asked to speak to a manager after explaining to the tech all I had done and that the previous tech could not resolve the issue. The manager tells the tech to ask me why I need to speak to a manager. I calmly tell the tech everything again. She puts me on hold and tells the manager. She comes back on and says she is going to try to change my password. The first effort does not work. She turns off my my two-step authentication. Then I have to set it up again. Finally, I have to try to change my password again. I use the same exact password I currently have. Now it requires a symbol for security purposes. THE REASON MY PASSWORD STOPPED WORKING ALL OF A SUDDEN WAS BECAUSE THEIR WEBSITE CHANGED THEIR PASSWORD SECURITY PROTOCOL AND DID NOT WARN USERS. The tech had the nerve to tell me to not use an incorrect password next time. Outrageous and ridiculously unprofessional customer service.

I recently purchased a home that had a Alarm.com, alarm system installed in it. It was less than a year old and the previous owner said they were happy with the alarm and the service. So I decided to call and establish service and inquire about a camera package. My sales rep. was Gary U. he was great, offered me a camera package that fit my security needs. Gary spent time with me explaining all the cell phone and desk top requirements to make sure the system worked properly. Also he told me where the cameras would be mounted that I had to make sure power could be available in that area for a smooth installation. The install company showed with all the equipment, it was painless installation and problem free start up. Thanks again Gary, you are an asset to Alarm.com, and your install company only has praise for you.

Wow I just called in to have some help on obtaining information on the thermostats that are compatible. The operator that helped me on the technical support desk told to “GOOGLE IT UP”. I requested for a supervisor for assistance. She put me on hold for “22 MINUTES!”. Another person who sounded exactly like the operator who was helping me id’d herself as a supervisor was supposed to send me info on the compatible thermostats. Still has not sent me the information. That is just not good business! I’m hoping someone calls me from corporate so I have explain then extremely poor customer service experience I had had.

Very easy, informative and targeted program. Enjoyed the presentation. We tried something like this 4 years ago but it was too labor intensive. This appears to be far more manageable.
