I have not shopped in American eagle for years and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of clothes and the stuff at this location. Travis was so nice and helpful he remembered everyone’s names, grabbed different sizes, styles and gave honest opinions to the styles I was trying on. That men deserves a raise !

I went there the 2.22.24. And here’s my experience.Cons: The team doesn’t know the difference between soft inquiry and hard inquiry after asking the girl several times if it was a soft inquiry to my credit she swore up and down (which I knew it was a lie) that it was soft and I said okay and showed her right then and there that lying isn’t okay and I got my notification from CreditWise stating I took a hard inquiry. (Why I’m taking off a star)Pros: Great at fashion detailing.The staff that was there that day was simply amazing. The manager (a black woman) helped me find clothes for my nephew by eyeing him and I’m not going to lie I didn’t want to go anywhere else and she made it work so props to her.They are kind and caring and I truly appreciate them for helping me out that day. They could answer questions on a whim and were super knowledgeable. Overall that was a superior team there that day. Good job.

I visited your store and encountered an employee (KR3407) whose behavior was extremely rude and disrespectful. Not only did they display a nasty attitude towards me, but their overall demeanor was unprofessional and unwelcoming.

I just want to say how kind & sincere the retail staff is at this store in Tyson’s!! My son just loves this store & I feel good about shopping here for him & for me. Real people who look you in the eye & actually engage in conversation work here ! Kudos to your staff especially during the holidays.

Karen Jones is the sweetest!! She’s super helpful with everything. The size I was looking for wasn’t displayed in the front and she brought some out from the back in the right size and in every color. She was really nice with helping me find everything I needed. Thank you Karen! ?

I frequently shop here. They always have a person in the fitting room helping out. They stay true to the experience that a retail store should provide.

Horrible experience. Ordered 2 items for in store pick up that was supposed to be ready within 2 hours, but workers got an attitude when we came in 15 minutes early and still didn't have it ready when the store closed an hour later. Will never shop at this location again. Take your business to a better staffed and better minded place.

"There's a black lady who doesn't wear her name tag; she is the manager who works here. She is extremely racist. I came at 8:54 PM to make a return, and she closed the door on me, saying that they were cleaning up. Last time I checked, the store closes at 9:00, not 8:54 PM. Your work ethic sucks if you're only here to make money and clock out. Don't come if you don't know what customer service is. You act like a slave."

For a company that claims to value body positivity and lift up people with disabilities, I am extremely disappointed by how they treated me as a person with a temporary disability on mobility aids (forearm crutches). American Eagle need to train their associates to treat people with disabilities the same way their corporate team upholds their disabled models they use to advertise their clothing. Previous to my experience, I believed American Eagle was a body disability inclusive brand (even launching their Abilitee Adaptive Wear line). I will not be shopping here again and I will be outspoken about my experience in this store. My friend and I went here to shop for t-shirts and sweatpants, when, after 10 minutes in store, I needed to sit down for a minute or two due to exhaustion from using the crutches. I looked for somewhere to sit, but I could not find anywhere available. When my friend went to the fitting room to try something on, I found a corner of a wooden display unit and made sure to not sit on the merchandise. I sat there for a minute before an associate came to me and said I needed to stand. She did NOT offer any alternatives or accommodations. When I showed her my crutches and asked for another minute, her response did not change; she still said I needed to get up (essentially saying I needed to get up or leave the store). As I was leaving the store, another employee rushed toward me and told me that she could bring me a chair or could make room for me in the fitting rooms. I was already so disappointed by my experience I felt I needed to exit the store. I understand associates do not want customers sitting on their store displays due to many reasons (makes location less shoppable, clothing could be damaged). Either way, her response repulsed me. I once worked at an American Eagle location (not this one), so it saddens me that I do not feel comfortable shopping here again.

I can understand being understaffed - but it’s a problem when it’s a Saturday night and there’s only one cashier working a line of 10+ people with available associates walking around.The checkout counter looked very unprofessional with trash and boxes laying around everywhere.I’m pretty sure they’ve never actually cleaned the counter with a disinfectant. Just an overall disappointing in-store experience.
