Never thought I'd be insulted by a clothing store associate, but there's a first time for everything, I guess. I stepped out of the dressing room to ask a friend about a dress I was trying on and an employee gave me an enthusiastic "NO. No, no, noooooo". She was smiling, so I thought she was kidding and I was waiting for a "sike, buy it" so I laughed along... but she was serious. I literally said, "oh... you're not kidding", and she replied "do you want honesty? Or?". She pointed out the areas that looked unflattering and was not polite about it. I didn't even ask her for her input?? I had a feeling I needed to go a size up, but being told rudely in a dressing room full of people that my belly was too big for the dress was awful. Another associate tried helping out and brought me another dress, but at that point I had changed back into street clothes and left the store in tears. I don't know her name, but she was an older woman with white/grey hair and wore a lot of mascara. Never coming back to this location again.

Since I had rewards expiring soon, I decided to check out Ann Taylor at Tyson's Corner. When I entered, I was greeted by staff, who were ready to help me find whatever I needed. Since it was my first time in the store, I told them I wanted to browse the store. I ended up getting a stylish Faux Suede Moto Sweater Jacket and saving $74.75! I wanted to save an additional $20 but had issues applying for their credit card due to a system error.

What’s with the costumer service in this store? I’ve work for the brand before and is disappointing to see people not being passionate about the brand or even their work. Had helped from staff on the floor, (maybe manager?) checking out was a different vibe, (awkward silence when I approach as if they were talking about me) was told twice that it was final sale and she even wrote it on my receipt, didn’t ask if I had an Ann Taylor credit card (which I do, opted not to use it) was she having a bad day? ? Maybe, but don’t come to work if that’s the case. As s cashier you’re the last contact the costumer has, and you I want to make them come back. Will not be returning to this particular location.

Horrible customer service. Came in with my mom, none of the employees ever greeted us, and we didn’t dare to interrupt them from chatting to one another. Was the store busy? No, there were 2 people and a whole bunch of sales people. Not one them greeted or talked to anyone. This is the most basic thing in customer service-you say “hello” and you carry on. Or you know…find a job that doesn’t involve people.

They used to be this good fashionable store where working professionals used to frequent. What happened? did they replace the decent designer? They are going for this droopy sad colored hobo chic thing, which other stores do way better and lost their clientele. Now their machines don't even work, when I returned an item, didn't give me a receipt confirming I returned it. Unlike purchase, the refund isn't immediate so I can't even check it on my bank app, they just wanted me to trust their word and return the clothes but leave without a return receipt or my money back. Wait what? She said the computer is offline, so it can't let her do what she wants. Well, if the system is offline, how on earth would it know I returned it??!! The store clerks weren't even sorry! And they should stop hiring teenagers (or so they acted and looked like) hire some true professionals who can run the computer and have a decent service attitude for god's sake. Especially this location, located inside the fancy Galleria mall, this is their service? How sad. They are so much inferior in design and quality compared to other stores in the mall already, they should at least compete with stellar service. Unfortunately they don't. I am never coming to AT again and recommend you all to save and use your money in a store that will appreciate you AND with better design and quality.

60% sale on many items. Nice selection of suits. Found a great white blouse. Easy return and exchange at checkout. The guy was fast and efficient. The girl at the fitting room looked bored.

AT is bad! It closed my account without telling me, charged me double amount than the balance and sent me direct to debt collection! Just realize how bad it is to create an account because of its discount.
