Horrible bank. The customer service here is a joke. They are also one of the slowest banks in McLean. There’s only one good person in the drive-through window, and he only works sometimes. Ever since Bank became truist, it has been worse and worse every month. Avoid truist, avoid this bank.

Management and bank policies in place are beyond backwards. Weeks of wasting my time and almost sat for 2 hours inside to close out my accounts. Showed up 3:30pm and didn’t leave till 5:15pm. Worst banking experience ever. Employees worked hard to get the task done however it seems there’s so management support when it comes to larger tasks at hand.

Customer service is definitely lacking, particularly with the branch manager (name to be added later). As a previous reviewer stated, what’s the point of appointments. While I understand that this policy may have been put in place to manage wait times or crowds during covid, the branch only had 3 total customers. The branch manager was also free and not attending to another customer, yet was adamant that an appointment is needed for her to assist us with our service request. When I mentioned that it was not advertised that an appointment was needed and that it took a lot of coordination to get all parties present, her response was “I’m sure it was” in an unapologetic manner. While she eventually fit us in (after listing out a bunch of conditions), it just left a bad impression. Go elsewhere if you want to be valued and not treated like second class citizens. A note to the branch, keep in mind that customer service is vital to keep your customers happy and returning. I will definitely not be referring this branch and since this is the first time I visited a Truist Bank, I will be writing it off as a potential bank to start a relationship in.
