I can’t say enough great things about Elements! The salon itself has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and I love that they use all natural products—my hair is healthier now than it’s been in years.
I’ve bleached and colored my hair for years, and it has always had that “dyed hair dryness”… but not this time! Since my appointment, my hair has been soft, shiny, and healthier than I thought possible.
My stylist, Nikki, was absolutely amazing. She had me laughing the entire appointment, but what stood out most was how much she listened to me. She really took the time to understand what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and delivered the best cut I’ve had in a long time. On top of that, the color match she did was spot-on perfect! Haha the first time in a decade I’ve had my natural color.
I’ve finally found my go-to salon and stylist. I’ll be coming back to Elements and Nikki for as long as I live in the area. Highly recommend!

Each visit provides a pleasant atmosphere, and I am very fond of my hairstylist; she is excellent! She attentively listens to my requests and works with care and precision! Her name is Nikki! I am delighted with her, as she is the best!

I drove 2hrs from Southern Maryland to come to Elements to see Nikki! As soon as you walk into the salon the energy is very welcoming and everyone was very kind. I loved that the bathroom had hand towels that could be washed with the option to use paper towels as well, very eco friendly option.
Nikki listened to my requests for my haircut and color. She wanted what was the best for the health of my hair. I told her I wanted just a trim on the longest parts of my hair and then some face framing layers and she delivered 10000% I will gladly make the drive again to McLean just for my hair services.

Nikki has cut my hair several times and I couldn’t be more pleased! She doesn’t push me to color my hair and even tells me that my gray is beautiful! She uses clean, organic products too! She listens to how I want my hair cut and makes it happen. I’m a quiet type, but I look forward to catching up with her every few weeks. Get Nikki to do your hair. You will be happy with the results!

The space felt so inviting and it’s so cute. I had my haircut with Nicole T and she was so sweet. Her shampooing skills are top tier, she gave me a small head massage while at it and it felt very relaxing. When she got to cutting my hair, she asked what I was looking for and it made me feel like she was listening and understanding. I don’t get my hair cut very often as I get nervous about it so it felt very comforting as she talked me through what’s best for me and my hair. I definitely recommend seeing Nicole for your hair needs as she is not only the sweetest person ever but extremely knowledgeable.

Elements Hair in McLean is amazing! I’ve been trying for years to find someone who understands how to cut my 7-year-old son Vincent’s playful hair—not just a basic boy’s cut. Emily absolutely nailed it. From the moment I called, the team went above and beyond to fit us in (even with my last-minute request and arriving late due to crazy traffic).
Everyone was kind, welcoming, and so good with kids. Emily gave Vincent the best haircut he’s ever had—it looked great that day and still looks amazing 3 weeks later. She also helped with my daughter Hazel and was so warm and charismatic. The owner even made hot chocolate for the kids!
Such a happy, inviting place. Great people, great vibe, and truly skilled professionals. So glad we found them!

I met Nikki in a salon in DC about a year ago. I love her energy and her warm spirit. She really cares about her clients. i'm so happy I followed her to Elements mclean salon. My first time there, I was welcome by everyone in the salon. They treated me like a longtime friend. It was a welcoming and lovely atmosphere. Nikki is extremely professional and always ask my opinion on what she's doing. I'm a very lucky client!

I had a hair fail (did it myself) I went to Elements McLean. the service when you walked in was a very warm welcome and the receptionist was very helpful. my hairdresser was amazing. she talked about what I wanted and how she would fix my hair. she work really hard and kept checking I was ok and offered drinks.
it took 3.5hrs and it was worth the wait. couldn't fail then, I'll be recommending them and going back again. my look afterwards was great! very happy. thank you.

Really appreciate the authenticity and quality of this salon. My cut and the products they recommended actually made a difference in how my hair looks (when styled on my own). I love my new style and how easy it is to maintain. This is the first time in years that I haven't spent at least half the week with a ponytail! Can't wait for my next appointment!

Lauren is awesome and her team is just as kind, when my fiancee and I go in for our appointments. My fiancee and I are both curly headed, who cannot trust just anyone to handle our hair care. That being said, it is why we both highly recommend the team here! Amazing experience - never had such a comprehensive assessment of my hair health and scalp health - got the scalp facial and single process color, also given recommendations for psoriasis for my scalp and my damaged hair - bought several of their surface products (the shampoo conditioner called awaken and their bassu oil and bassu leave in spray as well as awaken serum) all have helped my hair health and scalp health in the last 3/4 weeks I’ve been using them. Traveled from columbia MD to come here and will keep coming here even if it means I have to sit on 495 to get here!

Julie highlighted and cut my hair a few weeks ago. I can't say enough nice things about her and this salon. First off, I am happy that they use cleaner products than typical salons. Julie is so sweet and fabulous at her job. I absolutely love my hair color and cut!! I get tons of compliments! The ladies in this salon were very kind as well. Lindsey washed my hair and did an amazing job. Best hair massage I've ever had! Also the salon was very clean and kept everything safe during this pandemic. I will definitely be back!
