I had such a great experience at Madewell this past weekend thanks to their associate Skylar. After having a baby it has been really tough to find jeans that make me feel good. Most of the other stores I went into recently left me feeling discouraged and sad, but Skylar completely turned that around.
I feel like she really took the time to listen and helped me find the perfect pair of jeans for my body. She was not just trying to sell me something to make her quota. She genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and confident. For the first time in a long time I left a store feeling good about myself and how I looked.
If you are shopping for jeans, ask for Skylar. She will make the experience so much better.

The staff here is truly the best I've experienced in the Tysons mall!! Reem gave us super great customer service!! She was very friendly and informative. I had tried on some pants which were too long, and Reem informed me of their hemming services. She helped me decided which length to hem my new pants. Aside from the amazing staff, the store is super organized and all of their clothes feel like they are made to last.

The store is beautifully organized, fully stocked, and so easy to shop. Everything felt thoughtfully laid out. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly—genuinely knowledgeable and eager to assist without being pushy. Such a refreshing shopping experience. I’ll definitely be back!

The biggest shoutout to Terrance (I hope I spelled it correctly)!! I’ve always HATED jeans shopping because I’m athletic build, but also curvy, tall, but also regular/avg height. I usually got waist gapping or thigh rolls with jeans in the past.Anyway, I’ve found peace with Madewell brand jeans because they have a little something for everyone, and they offer hemming services.Terrance provided the best customer service though, and he was very knowledgeable about the different styles and their details. I appreciated his help so much. He even called a store in NY that had a pair of jeans in my size, and I was able to get them shipped to my house. I’m so grateful for his kindness and help. If you’re reading this Terrance, thank you again!!

This store is nice and well organized but I am really here to write about how wonderful their store associate Khalil is. He was extremely helpful and kind to me and seemed genuinely happy to help anyone who needed it. He made my shopping experience seamless and enjoyable.

I had such a great experience at this Madewell! The gentleman by the fitting rooms and the woman at the register both made my experience yesterday, 13 May, amazing! The gentleman at the fitting room helped me figure out what jeans were for me as it was my first time purchasing jeans from Madewell, and when I was unhappy with the fit of the first two (standard sizing and petite sizing), he recommended the curvy fit which is definitely the best fitting jeans I've had in a long time! Checking out was a breeze, as the woman at the front was so nice, and despite the line behind me, she took her time to walk me through signing up for their loyalty program. I will definitely return to this Madewell! Thank you!

Discrimination/prejudice by some staff. Also unprofessional staff. Some staff were complaining about their manager and called him an “idiot.” Instead of saying hi to me they talked about how “incompetent” he is. Almost all of the staff looked liked they dreaded working there….I was “dressed down” and was never acknowledged. I had 6 items I was holding. The male employee working the sale section on 1/14/23 acknowledged everyone but me and asked them to hold their items while they shopped. He and other staff never said anything to me but I noted that he assisted everyone in his section and asked if they needed help. I have Madewell “star” status and it’s my favorite store. I’m assuming because of my casual outfit I didnt fit a certain look. This has happened at another Madewell store when I lived in Texas. Very uncomfortable experience. Won’t shop there again.
