I asked if a lady there if she could do this inspo pic and she said yes and this is what I got. The nails are literally see-through, some are pointy, some are dull. The flower is just one big blob and some nails are sideways. This photo shows what I asked for vs what I got.

I don’t like posting negative feedback but had to share because this was the worst gel manicure I’ve ever had. It started chipping within 3 days of getting it (and my gel manis normally last 2+weeks!). I’m a business owner and mom and it’s hard for me to find time to break away for nails so when that time is wasted- it’s very disappointing:/

If you are someone who suffers with an ingrown toe nail, DO NOT get your ingrown treated here. I used to have my ingrown toenail treated by Sunny, but my experience with the salon took a turn for the worse. I booked an appointment with her, as the person on the phone said she was available. However, when I arrived, I was told that it was Sunny's day off. I had driven all the way to McLean, only to have someone else perform the procedure. They claimed to be experienced, but the treatment was extremely painful, took a really long time, and resulted in bleeding.
Despite this, I decided to give the salon another chance. When I called this time, I was informed that Sunny was gone, and they didn't know when she would return. They offered me someone named Jenny, who supposedly had experience. Jenny did not seem experienced AT ALL. It took her nearly an hour to do something that would have taken Sunny just 15 minutes. She kept digging into my toenails without effectively addressing the ingrown nail, and my toe started to bleed again. She just dug into my skin without getting out any ingrown. I don't even think she cleaned the equipment properly. When Sunny treated me, she always used tools that were sterilized and wrapped in pressed paper packaging. However, this time, they used regular nail tools. After finishing, she simply sprayed alcohol onto the tools once, without wiping them, and then put them away.
Following the procedure, I had a difficult time walking for days due to a toe infection. The toe area completely swelled up and turned red. I couldn’t walk, shower, or put on socks for DAYS because of the pain and pus formation. It is evident that the salon misrepresented their expertise. They falsely claimed that Sunny would return without providing a specific date (when she clearly stopped working), likely to avoid losing a customer.
TERRIBLE experience.

i have no idea who did my nails but they are god awful. looks like a 5 year old did it and i didn't notice until i paid and left that you can clearly see dots in the nails and a dent

Love the place. Local consistent great manicure and pedicure. I see Nancy but other favor different people. Highly recommend.

Sunny is the best! She takes such great care of my nails and they last a very long time. No one else I trust with my nails now. Highly recommend!

Will never go back here again. Terrible experience and has happened before, only went in bc of time crunch before wedding and literally down our street. Went for gel polish with the same person as before, big mistake. I do not know their name but boy cut and generally moody. They pulled and squeezed my fingers repeatedly even after telling them it hurt and to stop. When I politely asked that the gel polish be a lighter tone, they shook their head and seemed to disapprove and only gave in to my wishes after several requests. This person should not be in this job, they seem rarely happy and take their frustrations out on the customer. I am very disappointed in their services overall and will not be returning.

i asked for almond medium nail length and showed thid reference photo and this is what i got. barely any length and doesn't look good. for 80$ this is crazy. very disappointed after paying alot of money... could go somewhere for cheaper and get better naiö

I had a great experience at McLean nails and spa. Kay did my nails and she did an excellent job. The nails were very similar to the reference photo and I'm happy with how they turned out. She has done my nails before too and they also turned out really well. I will definitely be coming back.

McLean Nails and Spa has been my favorite local spot for almost 10 years. The customer service is incredible, they always manage to find time to squeeze me in. All of the nail techs are not only amazing at their job, but also so sweet and really have cared to get to know me and my family (we are all loyal customers). Mai and Kim are the best!! Come here if you want a long lasting and well done manicure.

Unprofessional staff members. I've been going there for years and my last experience was my final straw. They don't give you all your change back unless you say something & they do not communicate well telling you what they want you to do, just tap or point the whole time. This last time, the lady put wax all over my mouth GROSS.
