Mclean Sport and Health has the best overall indoor tennis in N. Virginia, period ! From condition of courts, availability of courts, hours of operation, Private and group lessons, reasonable court fees, they have the best tennis gig going . When you join they will introduce you to people at your skill level. Aside from tennis, they have a really nice indoor lap pool, a huge fitness area, and many Yoga and Pilates classes. The staff is very nice and professional. They have a cafe onsite in case you get hungry or want and adult beverage after your workout or tennis. Parking is easy and steps from the club.

I've been a member here for the last 9 years, but I primarily come in for Squash. The Squash courts are a bit narrower than the regulation, but serves the purpose and thanks to Regency for keeping them. Overall, a nice club with descent fitness equipment. What's missing (Stretch equipment)Technogym Flexability Anterior: Machine broke and was removed, never replaced or repairedTechnogym Flexability Posterior: Machine was broken for a while, repaired but still in bad shapeTrueStrech Stretch Cage: This machine is missing from this gym. It's available in every other OneLifeWhat's great:Front desk, management, workers, membership staff: They're all amazing and very friendly. What's not great:Monopoly of the cafe over majority of the main floor. The guy just doesn't want you to sit on the chairs unless you're not ordering anything from his cafe. Which made me purposely NOT order anything from him even if I need to. He won't make you stand there, go outside the balcony area etc. Super rude guy.

DO NOT JOIN. Been a multi pass holder since I joined. If you have a family do not join. Now they will not allow any one life members who pay each month for years to continue to enjoy the facilities you helped establish throughout the years. Please lets not settle for these standards. God Bless

Once you are a member they will give you trouble to leave. The owners lack empathy and only care about the money. Worst gym in the DMV area when it comes to costumer service.

I'm not particularly enamored with McLean. Yet sometimes business interferes, and I have to use this location to work out. Being surrounded by some upscale Ughs wearing folks isn't my idea of a good time. Yet I must acknowledge the employees, being friendly and putting up with the entitled folks with "the 3rd" after their name. Oh did I forget Esquire? Sorry not sorry. On a plus note once zoned out, I'm ready to hit their gym hard. This is a clean location, with all kinds of equipment. I think if you're in the area, this is where you want to go. Wear some regular gear and get your reps in. I do think their machines are phenomenal, along with fitness opportunities. It all starts with the staff, and they make each workout a pleasant experience!

Such a shame. I have never felt the way I did when I met the manager of this program, going by the name Bill, my father has been going to this location for a couple years now, and he is a big supporter and donator of this location in McLean. Not only did i feel threatened by his choice of words, i almost let that ruin my day. Haha never judge someone off looks! Yes I may have tattoos but that doesn’t make you a bad person. Like I told Bill I eat of negative energy! So sad to see people operate a place of business the way Bill does. I suggest you don’t waste your time even going. O and did I fail to mention I do have contacts with Kirk so he will be receiving a call.

Their tennis director Leif in one life fitness McLean has a disorganized, unstructured, and unclear expectation in the interview process. I feel taken advantage of for free labor. Towards the beginning they did instruct me to throw a ball at 2 kids at a time which is a bad strategy making it harder to analyze the shots of the students and give them proper feedback. He also left me unsupervised for the majority of the "hour long interview" without conducting a background check to work solely with young children. My record is clear but not everyone out there is. Overall poor experience and a lack of quality coaching and tactics. Had bad vibes the whole time I was there. Edit: Following the comments from the owner. I was entirely by myself at least 2/3 of the time on the court with the children. For the vast majority of the time, the tennis director, I did not see on any of the courts. He was definitely not on the court next to me much more than half the time I was there and could not have properly observed my work from further away. A simple camera footage of that day can reveal terrible interview trial procedures confirming my comments. Camera footage of that day can say a lot more than any words from the business whether they want to be honest about what happened. Instead of answering my review to defend themselves they should be making things right to those that were wronged in their facility.

Great well managed and maintained facility. Centrally located with free parking. This place has just about everything including a pool, many tennis/squash courts, a variety of exercise spaces and studios as well as a large weight room. The staff is professional and friendly. The onsite restaurant and smoothie bar is a hidden gem.

What you want is here at $92 a month with great clients. I wish Men’s shower stalls had much less mold and fungus and were cleaner - with score of about 3 with better sink faucets. The suitemate has been broken for the last 5 months!

A Disappointing Experience at the Fitness ClubI recently visited this fitness club, hoping for a motivating and pleasant environment to engage in my fitness routine. Regrettably, my experience was far from satisfactory so it’s disappointing me to continue my workout and ruined my plan. The club, housed in an old, neglected underground long hallway for accessing to rooms , felt both outdated and uncomfortable, leading to an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. The ill-maintained pool area, despite having six lanes, failed to inspire with its limited view and constant overcrowding, which did not align with the high price they were asking. The club's pricing structure was highly inflexible and overpriced, with a mandatory one-year membership fee of $80 per month, including for spouses, and without any complimentary benefits. Once a member, I was taken aback to find out I had to pay additional fees for basic features like swimming and tennis classes, and the personal training sessions came at a steep price. The tennis court was disappointingly confined to a gloomy basement, while the poorly maintained locker rooms only added to the overall dissatisfaction. Their so-called massage room, consisting of just three chairs, was similarly lackluster.Despite all these shortcomings, the club had the audacity to charge an exorbitant annual fee of $1000 per person, without any spouse discounts. Spending $2000 annually for such subpar facilities and service feels unjustifiable. In conclusion, this fitness club was a major disappointment. It lacked the appeal and charm one would expect from a facility of its kind and failed miserably in its role as a retreat for the mind and body. I'm left seeking other alternatives for my fitness journey, as the club's high prices did not match its underwhelming offerings.
