Unprofessional, untrained teller who was not patient enough with my father this morning. I was on the phone helping my father and translating for him so he could REMOVE cash and DEPOSIT to another account. Lady’s who spoke with me was very arrogant. I clearly told her that the deposit should be in form of cash and not check and it should be deposited to another account. (I sent the account number) Guess what. She did it in form of check and deposited back to the same account. Now , my dad has to wait one day for his own money removed and deposited back to same account.

Not a good bank. Terrible service. They opened my Safe Deposit box, which they're not supposed to do. The tellers were unfriendly and unhelpful. My experience was similar to other reviews.

This bank used to be so great with customer service I went up and complimented the manager. There were always new faces there, but each new employee was cheerful, welcoming, informed and efficient. That has not been the case for several years now. Just called today to make an appointment and was told that they were too busy with appointments today to take my number or to make an appointment with me for a future day, and that I should try calling them again tomorrow. Ridiculous.

I can't say enough good things about my experience in this branch. I truly hope that PNC management read these reviews and rewards their employees accordingly. I had the pleasure of interacting with the Branch Chief. She is just awesome. Very friendly, patient, smart and provided an excellent customer service guiding me through the services and what to expect from each and the rational behind each policy. Most notable is that at no moment I ever felt I was being sold something or questioned her responses. Def recommend!

Really solid, efficient, pleasant customer service here. I can't relate to the other reviews: They've always been particularly nice, courteous, and helpful to me at this branch.

This is a horrible bank, to be avoided. First, they didn't make payments I programmed into the electronic bill pay feature on my account, causing me to rack up late fees with my credit cards. Then, they wanted to charge me for notarizing a document, even though they promise customers free notarizations, because my wife's name was also on the document and she is not a customer. Now, they've paid my mortgage twice through the electronic bill pay feature, draining all funds from my account, and can't do a thing to fix the problem. I've called PNC's 1-800 number repeatedly and keep getting directed to branches, which tell me that there is nothing they can do to fix the problem other than transfer me back to the 1-800 number. After PNC fixes this mess, I'm changing banks.

Let me tell you, do not use PNC Bank to get a HELOC. The outfit in McLean, VA does a total 'Bait and Switch' operation. They pull you in with a low rate and then after they've done everything, all the paperwork, credit reports, etc., they change programs on you! We had TONS of equity. We had an EXCELLENT credit rating. The 'suit' behind the desk told me that he has never missed an achievers trip and that he was the 'best' at PNC. He tried to get us to take out a whole new mortgage even though we had already paid off more than 7/8 of our house, and only needed some CASH to finance our child's college education. When we shot that down and chose a modest HELOC instead, he changed the whole perimeters. We had discussed ALL options beforehand and I have all the emails. It was outrageous. We didn't even write him back when we got his offer. We went back to our current bank and they honored everything they told us verbally, even after all the background paperwork was completed. It was a complete joy compared to the horrendous experience with PNC bank. This loan officer is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He is not who PNC should be touting as their "best" loan officer. If they really knew how he was jeopardizing the financial lives of their potential clients, all to line his own pockets, would they really still be rewarding him? Maybe it's their culture? I hope not. I hope he gets the boot soon. This should have been a hidden camera investigation. Take it from me, don't be allured by the gorgeously decorated bank (Think Gringots), or the over-abundant customer service (three suits asking who you're here to see), just skip PNC all together. I'm sure they have a refrigerator upstairs with bottles of champagne in them and they toast to each new idiot they close because people didn't do their homework. Go there last if you go there at all.

Used to be a great branch with universally courteous, professional staff. Now, it's the opposite. They make mistakes, don't return calls as promised, waste your time, it goes on and on.
