Apparently Mike's business has been around even longer than mine, but for some reason I never discovered this place until recently. It's a bit of a drive from Herndon, but well worth the trip.
It all started when I was in my early teens, washing cars in the back of my father's barber shop. After eight years in the United States Secret Service, I made an unsuccessful run for the United States House of Representatives. This was in 1980. In 1981, I decided to start my own business, Pro-Clean of Tysons Corner, Inc. I am crazy about the beauty that arises from professional auto detailing plus the good old-fashioned hand car wash.
After 40 years of success, we are still hand washing and detailing cars from Volkswagens to Rolls Royces and have grown to be one of the largest car and truck detailing businesses in the Washington, D.C., area.
