I had my hair cut with Taha today. I could not have asked for anything better and sexier. He is amazing and he knows his stuff. I showed him picture of the hair style I wanted and he cut and styled my hair better than the picture. All the staff from front desk to the stylist himself, Taha are so kind and professional. I am so glad I came here today and will definitely make Taha my permanent hair stylist. Definitely would recommend him.

My first Sasoon hair cut was in 1981 in London. Then I had a few visit in the New York Sasoon salon and I was happy with the service. Today I had highlights with Phuong AnhTran at the Gallary in Tyson Corner,VA salon, and I was very impressed and happy with her fine job and expertese. Even my grandchildren noticed:"Grandma your hair looks great!" Phuong, thank you and see you soon.

$300 for full head highlights and $180 for color touch up ?? I struggled with writing this review because I technically got what I requested through the online scheduler, and the colorist was very nice, but it's absolutely NOT what wanted, and NOT the price I was expecting. It was my mistake for not asking the price BEFORE getting my hair colored, and my mistake for assuming I was going to get the same hair color I showed in the multiple pictures I pulled up. If I'd gone back they might have fixed it, but I was going on a trip shortly thereafter and didn't have time. What I should've asked for was full color, then highlights, but even then the cost would've been ridiculously high. I was also hoping to get the nice head massage with shampoo, but it felt rough and very rushed. Initially I wasn't even going to get a blowdry! But time just happened to open up and ended up getting it. With spending that kind of money I expected it to come with it! My hair is so damaged now that I can't get it fixed right away, and I have to wait several months with ugly hair until I can get it fixed ? A known name like Sassoon and high prices doesn't mean high quality or that you get what you want. Never ever going back.

Always excellent. Lived in London 48 years ago and had my hair cut, every week. Lived there for 2 years. When they first opened in Tysons had my hair done cut and styled by various new artists all great as London This time I had color with David and it was fantastic he gave me what I wanted for my color to look.

The staff at Sassoon is amazing. They always give good advice on how to help me look my best. This is one of my "happy" places. The quality of the training at Sassoon is the industry standard.

Excellent haircut from Kim! Clean and professional salon in Tyson's Galleria. I appreciated the high end experience and flexibility in booking. Be prepared to give a credit card when making your reservation.

My 5 stars is only about the stylists, not colorists. I have been getting my hair cut at this salon for almost 10 years. My current stylist is Alexis Kim and she is wonderful. It really comes down to the details. Most stylists can generally do a good haircut, but Alexis points out where a slight change could make a big difference. She has suggested areas to grow out and areas not to layer towards the front where hair is thinner. And she always listens to my concerns and what I like and don’t like. And she’s just a lovely person in general.I used to do color here, too, but stopped for some of the reasons other reviewers mentioned. The last time I did a color there it was a touch up of the roots that had grown out about 1 inch. Instead of black like the rest of my hair it came out a dark brown, then within a couple weeks faded to like a medium reddish brown. They couldn’t get me in right away for a fix so by the time I got back in, I had mostly black hair, a medium red-brown stripe, then roots even lighter. The 3 distinct stripes made me look ridiculous and it was embarrassing. What was worse, when I got back to the salon, they still gave me a hard time and had a manager get involved. They eventually redid it, but it still wasn’t fully black. And it was pretty absurd how they gave me a hard time about it as if I had done something wrong. I never went back for color.I’ve had problems with the shampooers, too, who sometimes get your clothes soaking wet and get your makeup running down your face but that seems to have been fixed and I’ve had only wonderful shampooers in the last 2 years.Services: Haircut

I am very disappointed with the outcome of my hair appointment with Cristina. I asked her to even out my hair - having the same length in the front and back but ended up with short back and longer front. On top of it, the shape of the hair cut is terrible after I washed and styled my hair, you could really see it. I think this is the worst hair cut I have ever had and now when there is no length has left, I can do nothing about it - just wait until it grows. It is very disappointing taking into consideration the high price and tipping. Never again!
