The staff appear unconfident, likely due to a manager who is overly demanding and addresses customers in a condescending, accusatory tone. It felt as though we were being treated like we’re doing something wrong, even when simply trying to make a purchase. There is a way of presenting information without being condescending or mansplaining. I regret making a purchase even though I was spoken to in such regard by that male manager.

Very large selection of wines and spirits in a very wide price range - there are bottles under $10 ranging up to several thousands of dollars. Very entertaining just to walk through and see everything, and the floor staff was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The cashier was a touch gruff, but that’s okay.

I am furious with this store. I was standing in line when one of their display cases was blowing dust and cold air in my face and it started to cause me to cough uncontrollably and lose my breathe. I was third in line. All the lines were extremely long. The cashier continued to take her slow time and have conversation with the other customers in line as I am noticably unable to catch my breath. My coughing started to become more of a noticeable emergency and when the cashier finally acknowledged me, I told her I have asthma to dust and she replied with “Yeah it’s dusty in the store.” She then continue to take her slow time to take care of the people in line. By the time I managed to make it out, I could not breathe so much so that I ran out without my receipt to go and grab my inhaler from the car. When I could finally catch my breath a little bit, I called the store to speak to a manager named Ivan who could have cared less that I was having a medical emergency and was more concerned about questioning me about how this could have just happened. After that, very meaningless phone call in which I’m still coughing and cannot catch my breath I rushed myself to the hospital. As a consumer who goes into an establishment, the establishment has a sense of responsibility over handling medical emergencies. Not only were they negligent in seeing if I was even OK and breathing in line. The Manager was negligent in making sure that I was OK medically or producing a report or even getting my name. I feel bad for anybody who has to go through medical emergencies like myself in a place like total wine. You will be dismissed and on your own.

Great choices of wines and sometimes you can find great deals. Most staff is friendly and helpful besides one lady at the checkout, she is kinda mean sometimes

Very clean and aesthetically pleasing store with exceptionally friendly staff.
I was able to pick up some sturdy boxes from this location which I greatly appreciated.
Located in the McLean shopping center, there is a large free parking lot. The store is wheelchair accessible.

Alway a good selection here. Virginia you can buy wine only. I found in Georgia you can not use your rewards on alcohol purchases.
