I am long time resident of McLean Virginia ZIP code 22101 I was very disappointed I want to cash the check from my friend the owner of the restaurant for only $175 I was short to pay to purchase my car and the the bank will charge me $7.50 cash personal check I do remember 30 years ago you were able to go and cash if it was the check payable to you and you had the valid driving license or any other US government idler password so why the banks have to squeeze the four people if we need to do basic work like cash the checks it right too you know you are charging people too much for the credit card for that student loans everything now you try to also do for like four people to cash the check shame on you

The teller who name is Mehmet was really nice & friendly. He made my payroll check cashing experience at this branch very smooth. I usually dread bank tellers but Mehmet’s warm personality and friendliness made my visit quick & simple!

DO NOT trust this branch with your safety or best interest. This branch actively assisted my mother with dementia get scammed. She can hardly speak, yet they helped her open an account and allow for it to be drained by cash withdrawals while a scammer was on the phone with her in the branch and the branch employees admitted they had concerns but did nothing to help her.

Been a customer for 30 years, this bank sucks go somewhere else. I made my mortgage payment and I was a little under in my bank account. For years and years Wells Fargo has allowed my account to go into overdraft when I sometimes have a large bill come out and then the next day ill see my account go into negative and I would deposit or move money and be fine.
For some reason though this time they chose to deny my mortgage payment. All anyone can tell me over the phone is "the system decides, the system decides" like a bunch of robots. This bank has severely become less customer oriented and more money hungry. Being more strict with long time clients and changing policies at a whim. I tried to change my overdraft settings or add additional protection services.. and of course they can't do anything.
They say the system looks at your history and decides to let the payment through or not.. well it does a extremely poor job. If they were to look at my history they could see all my accounts are always in good standing and the money is always there within hours if I am over drafted. But its easier to not pay anyone and implement a computer to make decisions on clients. This bank is dumb, go somewhere else if you want a bank that cares about its clients.

If I could give zero I would. They locked the door at 12:00pm when I was trying to open the door and turned their back on and pretended not to see me. Guess they didn’t want my money I couldn’t go through the drive through because I have a big work van

I am a professional fiduciary and work with many banks on behalf of clients. Sophia Salguero is the best! She has supported me through several POA client setups and if you have ever done it, it usually takes two visits and involves time. She has made it painless and easy.

Wells Fargo HR must be the worst because they keep hiring incompetent managers! I’ve been baking with Wells for quite awhile and I couldn’t be more disappointed! The new lady manager is just HORRIBLE! Zero costumer service skills . Some of the staff is wonderful and super helpful, but for some reason their managers are always incompetent and lack costumer service skills. She is so rude. I am contemplating cancelling my account at Wells.And NO do not reply to this post asking me to spend more time and effort calling a 1800 number to give more details. This post is to alert other costumers. Like I said some of their staff is wonderful but if you need help from the actual manager forget about it ! Not to mention she was so rude to the staff too.

went to the this location today, wait in line for 30 minutes, wanted to cash my check from work, which i have been doing for a while, the idiot rude operation manager came to over ride something, which i never gone through , and then she ask me questions like she works for the CIA, then she makes me wait more to call for verification to make sure who i am! the worst bank ever! that operation manager is the worst! i don’t know how she works there, with the worst customer service! which i heard it’s her last day at the bank! HORRIBLE IF I COULD GIVE IT A ZERO I WOULD!

If they could get no stars I would leave that. The rudest most unprofessional "service" I have ever had in a branch. This branch has always been difficult but they have gone so far downhill recently its pathetic. No one will answer the phone if you call, the branch manager is never in or available, the tellers are inept, surly, rude, lazy and ill-trained. No wonder Wells Fargo is heading toward extinction. Take my word avoid Wells Fargo like the plague, go anywhere else.So now their response is some canned email asking me to do all of the work (send my name, address, email, phone number and then link it to the review they just responded to!) so that they can contact me about their horrible service. After fighting with them to put money into my own account at their bank for 30 minutes and finally getting a receipt the bank manager calls up up at 4:45 and says that if I don't come back in by 5:00 PM they are going to shred my check and debit my account because they say they "can't quite read the amount on the check" even though I have a receipt for the correct amount!! Just more incredibly bad service. They are the worst bank I have ever been to.

If I could have left a zero star I would Have. I had worst banking experience EVER at this branch. I had a appointment for something notarized. When I showed up , he pretended he doesn't know about it and refused to do it. What a incompetent individual who works there!
