My husband and I visited for our “pre-honeymoon” for some great food, drinks, and spa services. We loved this tucked away treat!

Great way to start the weekend watching the sunset over the Blueridge with great cocktails. We had one bourbon, one gin, one mimosa and one martini all very good. I'm a true southern girl and I was skeptical of messing with just salt and water for boiled peanuts....but let me tell you, the Cajun and local spices used to boil these were amazing....we ate every last one.Charcuterie- love their dedication to local products. Was a fan of everything except the ham...too gamey/smoky for me.What was lost on the ham was made up 100+ times on the bolognese special...tease my taste buds...creamy and spicy a true taste explosion and the tortellini was perfect. Paired with the Cabernet from Napa made a delightful dinner...left no room for dessert.I don't want to undermine the seasonal pasta...butternut squash with sunflower seeds linguine. It was delicious but paled in comparison to that bolognese.Service was terrific. Definitely worth a stop while at Primland (and whatever you do...don't miss the peanuts!)

Tried to make a Reservation for The Pub however, when I called was told at this time is only available if a guest there overnight or some other paying event. Sorry, I can not afford your rooms but did want to eat at your resort. Website had nothing of this restriction. Did not visit.

Pricey food that was average, but the servers and barkeepers make up for it. They made my drinks to my specifications.

Drove here and was not allowed to dine. Private. Think it would say on the website or the reviews of other people.

The food is good. But prices way too high! Staff are awesome. Super nice! If they lowered their food prices, I would give a better review.

Great food, great view, great time! We couldn't have asked for a better service--thanks, Ashlay--and the food was great.

When visiting Primland the main dining attraction is Elements. But if you're staying more than one night, you'd like to try something different, and so we ate at 19th Pub. We were surprised and while we thought it was very good, it wasn't what we expected. First it is very small. There are tables outside, but in mid-October dinner in the cool outdoors in the dark wasn't what we wanted. Trying to social distance, we asked if more tables were available, and our server Adam opened up a back room where the two of us sat at the corner of a table for eight. We had a nice dinner (we started by sharing the cheese and charcuterie plate, which was excellent. I had the steak, my wife a burger). Adam was an attentive server, knew the menu well (although that isn't hard, given how small it is) and made good drink recommendations. We ate here again the next day for lunch, just sharing the cheese and charcuterie. Interesting, it was presented quite differently the second day of our visit. All in all this was good. I would be worried if I stayed in the lodge more than a few nights, as having only two choices right now is limiting, and Primland's remote locations--a key draw--makes it impractical to leave the property for dinner.

Come hungry. The burger was so filling. The bacon was so good. We had lunch in the patio and had dinner one night. I went easy with salad, which was huge. Saved room for peanut butter pie. Judy was very attentive. Got my sidecar cocktail and then remembered cider for dinner.

Great service snd great food. Perfect place to have a cold one and some food after a round of golf. Seating inside and outside overlooking the golf course. Definitely recommend if you're there.

I would rate it 5 star if the following were addressed. 1) SPA Staffing: Its not well staffed so literally unable to get an appointment. (even a week in advance). 2) For the size of the place the casual bar/pub is EXTREMELY small, leading to over-crowding which goes to 3) the nicer restaurant is way over-priced for quality and quantity of food (why everyone is crowding the casual place). Because of the remote nature of it, i get some premium (Although its not like the rooms are cheap) but they are charging 2x what they should for a 4-5 star restaurant. That addressed, 5 star. Other positive comments i agree with. Very nice and helpful staff, rooms are great (we were in the Pinnacle Cottages) although one would think they could make a more direct road to the main area. Also, great extra activities not normally found. Highly recommend the skeet and also very nice/helpful guide.
