“Cool place! The owner was friendly. I was looking for something specific so I didn’t get anything but next time I’m in the market for vintage toy trucks, planes or signs - definitely stopping here.”

“I loved the place ! Alot of glassware, (colored) beautiful jewelry, and all kinds of various things. Easy to navigate the booths ! But, I would not bring small children !!! Its not rumper room ! Im going back !”
“I would not call this an antique store whatsoever. I was disappointed in that regard. It was a lot of basic white b***h furniture and decorations. The place is HUGE and there are a TON of items to look at. I would go back for furniture for sure because a lot of it was pretty furniture for a decent price. However, I feel like they should advertise as an antique store because I don't feel that it is.”

“She was super quick to communicate and made the whole buying process such a great experience! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, and now I have an awesome new rug! 5 stars for sure! ?”
“My favorite antique mall in Richmond. Large, great selection. Prices sometimes run a bit high, but usually not much beyond market prices. Incredible selection of ephemera.”

“Had a great drop off experience today. Natalie was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. Processed a loaded 6x12 trailer in short order and got us on the way. She definitely made a differance.”
“This place is AWESOME!!!! I went in to "quickly" check it out and lost 2 hours of time! ?
If you see this review, GO!! Very unique, one of a kind pieces and place!”
“I’m updating my previous review because I believe in giving credit where it’s due. After sharing my concerns about feeling dismissed during my initial visit, the team at Governor’s Antique Salvage responded thoughtfully and professionally. They listened, acknowledged the issue, and made it clear that they value every customer. That kind of accountability speaks volumes.
What truly impressed me was their willingness to learn and adjust. It’s not easy for a business to receive criticism, and it says a lot that they chose to respond with openness rather than defensiveness. That experience completely changed how I feel about supporting them.
Beyond that, the inventory at Governor’s Antique Salvage is absolutely incredible. From antique doorknobs and architectural woodwork to iron gates, mantels, revolving doors, vintage chairs, and one-of-a-kind statement pieces — the selection is extensive and beautifully curated. You could spend hours exploring and still discover something new.
It’s a unique and worthwhile business with an amazing collection, and I genuinely look forward to returning and purchasing pieces for my home. I appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism, and I’m happy to update my review accordingly.”
