Terrible experience now 3 times. Unprofessional and descriptions on items can be misleading including bad photos. For pick up all 3 different times the Grindstaff people were RUDE, UNHELPFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL including a worker sitting on top of a piece of furniture I had purchased. Today my experience was horrible / I was kept waiting even though I was the only person picking up and made to feel like a criminal. The workers acted like the items I was asking for were not even there and insinuated I was at the wrong auction. There was no easy access with tricky steps to carry furniture and no help available / overall HORRIBLE! Don't waste your money or time or gas. I purchased a ring which looks nothing like their photo...hugely disappointing.

Always a great experience at Grindstaff's, whether an estate auction, business liquidation, online, or onsite auction. We've been loyal customers of Grindstaff's for years and have bought many amazing things at great values. They are very honest about describing items - if there is a scratch, chip, crack, damage, etc. The bidding is logical, easy to understand, and quick. Owners Jimmy and Anne are wonderful people and the staff is friendly and helpful.

great auction company always working to make sure everyone is happy, always had a great time at there auction just wish I had bigger vehicle to buy more stuff. always great items, everyone who goes to auction should try and make at least one of there live auctions great time always. They are just like family so please try to come.

Overall, I have been pleased with my experiences with Grindstaff Auctions. I like the online auctions which usually give ample time to review and watch the items. The staff is courteous and helpful.A little more time to preview and pick up items would be nice. This is an important factor as to whether or not I participate in the auction.

Fun auction with a lot of good quality items to bid on. Easy checkout process, too. Only problem was the amount of excess background conversations throughout the auction.

Wish that I lived closer to Grindstaffs so that I would be able to get to more of their auctions. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful ,whether I purchase an item or not I always enjoy myself. Keep up the good work finding treasures for us all.

Bid and won at the close on an item not normally seen in Grindstaff's auctions ..... an antique rifle. Process of bidding and picking up the item was simple and easy. No complaints, everything was a positive experience with friendly people who responded immediately to some questions I had during the bidding process. I would recommend their services and bidding on items of interest to anyone.

I loved your auctions until I saw recently that you were auctioning Confederate flags and memorabilia. I found that disturbing. I understand that people collect guns so I won’t complain about that but let’s let the Lost Cause get lost.

Online auction is great! User friendly website and real time updates when bidding. Picking up your items runs very smoothly with a well organized and knowledgeable staff.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - A Reputable Auction Company would have set up timeslots for people to pick up their winnings.Grindstaff's makes a lot of money off selling other people's items for pennies on the dollar. They have no regard for the condition they leave the house or the neighborhood they are in.COMPLETELY unprepared for traffic, no cones, no one directing traffic.IF you choose to use an auction company, do your research, are the reviews from the buyers who got treasures for pennies OR are the reviews from the sellers, who made little OR the community that had to endure their rude behavior. A Reputable Company would have positive reviews for all three.

I have made a number of purchases through this auction house and I have had such positive experiences each time! The Grindstaffs and their team are really professional and they find excellent lots for sale. (They were also really kind about a mixup we had once where my husband accidentally went to the wrong place to pick up something I bought and I appreciated their patience!)

I have been a Grindstaff customer since Jimmy's dad had an antique shop in the Atlee area. Over the years, I have purchased many items including furniture, oriental rugs, pottery, china and crystal. I loved (and still prefer) the good old days with live on site auctions, but have become better acquainted with bidding online during years of the pandemic.

This is the best auction company you could ask for. They are NUMBER 1in my book. And Jimmy I'm still going to steal your beautiful wife ANNE away!!!! I read a couple of negative posts on here, if you ever come to the auction previews you will see what you're bidding on. The sourpuss said he couldn't make the preview then he should not have bid so much money foolishly. And He's a bigshot dealer from western Va. Well, I'm a bigshot dealer from Here, I have never been cheated of given any false facts about anything I have ever bought from the Grindstaffs. Jimmy and Anne work very hard to establish their reputation. And it's a darn good one at that. Maybe those type of customers aren't needed and should not come back this way. Well, I'll get off my soapbox, I've only got one more thing to say. Jimmy and Anne are some of the finest people in this business, you can trust them to list what they an item is, and you can trust them with your purchase.
