Had a room with a broken AC unit, broken refrigerator, and damaged TV screen. Front desk allowed us to switch rooms with no problem.

Looked like a scene from a horror movie in the hallway. Carpet looked like they dragged a body down the hall. Place was filthy and falling apart. Rooms smelled like smoke and gnats were everywhere, especially at the breakfast area. Room floors were filthy and sticky. Some areas in the hall were held together by painters tape... I do not recommend.

Checked in for two nights. Found roaches on the bed in our room the first morning after checking in. Moved us rooms and apologized, but no other actions were taken. Room cleanliness was sub-par. Odor in both rooms. Didn't try the breakfast as we had already seen roaches and didn't want to get sick. We will not be returning.

The bedroom carpet was sticky. We found left over food items in shelves and on floor. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen. The door would literally hit your knees if someone were to open it while you were inside. The ice machine was broken so you can expect luke warm tap water to fill your water bottle with. While the front desk staff was quite nice, houskeeping barged in without even knocking at 2:45pm after we had already come back from lunch and were in various stages of dress. They did not come back until the next morning, waking us up at 9am, then again trying to get in about an hour later. Check out was at 11am, which we were early for.Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Innnext door. Half of the wedding party was there and said it was great

The rooms were clean even though it seemed a little smaller than a normal holiday inn room. Breakfast was great.

Upon check-in, the toilet wouldn't flush. I called down to the front desk and they sent someone up who handed me a plunger and then left. Never been to a hotel where they make you plunge your own toilet. I gave it a shot and the water level continued to rise so I stopped. Now, we don't have a working toilet.

Facility is a little dated for a holiday inn express. Venting system have some issues. We had to change our room because the first room smell musty/moldy, the second room is better but still has a little bit of smell. The bathroom fan doesn’t really suck air, so the humidity is completely trapped in the bathroom. Breakfast is ok. Pancake machine was broken, breakfast area is very very small, probably will pick a better one next time I’m down this way.Rooms: Rooms are musty/ smell moldyNearby activities: Lots of nearby restaurantsSafety: Seems like a safe area

I was charged a $200 fee for smoking in my room. I am a non-smoker and don’t care for the smell of cigarettes and did not smoke in this room. I called the manager of the hotel after I noticed the charge on my account. And the manager was extremely rude to me on the phone. He stated that the room smelled like smoke and therefore I was charged the $200. I asked him for the contact information for somebody higher than him, and he stated that there was nobody higher than him that he was the general manager of the hotel. And that the charge would not be removed. I normally always stay at a Holiday Inn on my travels, but I will no longer stay at any Holiday Inn or any hotel connected to Holiday Inn because of the poor customer service and how rude this individual was.

The hotel appears to be old and not clean, there was a musty smell in my room. The shower head was coming out from the wall. The next morning there was a brown bug on the wall. I stayed here before and seen the same type of bug on the wall. this location is my last choice of stay when i can't stay at the Airport location. The young lady who checked me in was extremely nice. The hotel definitely needs renovation.

First the lady working the breakfast buffet was extremely nice and the food was pretty good, overall the staff was friendly not overly friendly but friendly. What sucked was we picked a room with a queen only to find out that it was full and the pool was closed due to the pH being messed up by a thunderstorm the previous night. I’m not a pool guy but I seriously doubt rain would mess the pH up to the point it would take over 20 hours to get leveled out, also we were not informed the pool was closed until our kids were dressed ready at the pool gate. Everything was a little dated but not cringe, room was clean no funny smells or weird stains. AC units were not the best but it was July. Probably won’t stay here again unless we just have to, if you’re passing through on business or by yourself and just need a warm bed and shower it’s a good place, if you’re coming through with kids might want to look elsewhere especially if you want to hang out at the pool.Rooms: Clean, slightly dated, not entirely what was advertised though.Walkability: Walmart within walking distance plus some convenience stores, close to the highway but pretty hidden.Food & drinks: No vending machines and only a small selection of drinks and snacks at the front desk

Ok. It's 4 years later and this is not the same place at all. Any of the following issues would have been annoying, all together they are unacceptable. I will never stay in any Holiday Inn again if this is the standard that is acceptable.1. Our TV did not work. "No signal". I called the front desk and was told the TVs were out in the hotel due to the weather. Ok. Nothing they can do about that. We laughed because the weather was clear with no forecast for rain or any other inclement weather for another day. And then I called the room of the people we were traveling with and discovered that their TV was working. I called the front desk to let them know that there were working TVs and was told it was just some that weren't working and there was nothing they could do about it. They apologized and said they hoped it would be working shortly. It still wasn't working the next day. Now, before you think it's just a TV, I believe they knew it didn't work when I checked in and then bet I wouldn't learn that others were working when they told me it was the weather. When confronted, they made no attempt to right it. They didn't offer another room. They were not at full capacity. Upon checkout I asked for a discount for not having access to all amenities and received a discount.2. Our door wouldn't lock. We didn't discover this until we went to get the breakfast. We shut our door behind us and when we pushed on it, it opened right up. Thankfully there was a deadbolt that we used during the night. This means we couldn't go get breakfast and leave our stuff in the room. So we had to check out and wait hours in the lobby for our party to check out. I did ask the front desk to note our time of checkout in case someone else entered the room and caused damage.3. There is an odd smoky citrus cleaner odor in the room.4. The woman working the breakfast was working very hard to keep up with the demand but was not able to. Meanwhile, when we checked in at 11 pm, there were 3, yes, three, people working the front desk. 5. There is no fan in the bathroom. After a shower, water was raining from the mirror. The floor was very slippery. There was no way to keep the water inside the shower. The curtain was contorted in many different ways. Even with multiple attempts at closing the gaps between the curtain and the wall, when the shower was over, there was a lake on the bathroom floor.6. The room could have been cleaner, but I think at this point, if you're still reading, you know the issue is low standards so you can probably picture the cleanliness situation.

This hotel is filthy. The window and TV in our room had multiple handprints on them and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. There was also a musty odor to the room. The floor in our room/bathroom was very sticky and dirty when we arrived. I asked the front desk if they could wash the floor when the room was cleaned the following morning, but it was still as sticky and gross when we arrived back at our room that evening. Ice machine is broken and common areas like the hallways and elevators were really dirty with stains on the walls and fingerprints everywhere. Most of the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was decent. The most infuriating part of our stay was when the manager made a racist comment to my friend when she talked to him about how dirty her room was (it was much dirtier than ours). I think the staff at this hotel are doing the best they can but I get the sense this place is mismanaged and corners are being cut wherever possible. This was my first and will be my last time staying at a Holiday Inn.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Room is reasonably clean but common areas such as hallways, elevator and laundry room are absolutely filthy. If we weren't so tired we would not stay.
