0 STARS, if I could. Horrible customer service. I've been banking with these guys for years. Went in and cashed a check, and they gave me a counterfeit $100 bill. Every 2 weeks, I cash a check and take that money to Atlantic Union where I have another account. I give them the envelope that Truist gives me with the cash. I never take any money out. When I went to deposit at AU this time, they were the ones who notified me that there was a counterfeit. I had to go inside, they let me take a picture of the bill, and they took pictures of the 3 machines they ran it threw. The manager at AU gave me his card and said to go back to Truist and let them know what happened. He told me to tell them to have'm call him. They told me they couldn't give me the $100 back. Went back to Truist and told them they got their Manager Miguel to come over, and this guy was just so rude to me. He treated me like a criminal and then asked for the $100, I told him that AU would give it back, but here was the Managers number, Miguel said he didn't need it and that he wasn't going to do anything. After I complained, they then got another person, and I think her name was Wendy to come over to speak to me. She told me that she had to call someone else about it and took my info so she could call me. I stopped back in 2 days later, and she said that she had other more important things she had to do 1st, but she would call me later. That was 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't heard anything from them. Customer service is their last priority here. If you cash anything here, make sure they run it through their machines because if they mess up, it's your fault! The best thing to do is not bank with these guys, which is what I'm going to do.

I miss Catie. Plain and simple. She was the last one standing of the original team there when I opened my account years ago. I know she’s moved on to better things - but this branch really just isn’t the same without her. The energy and the joy she brought to us customers at this location is unmatched. Even if I did have to wait in a long line, seeing her move quickly while simultaneously making each customer she interacted with feel welcome, taken care of and not at all rushed was incredible. She would also help direct her teammates when they were having difficulty flawlessly as she was working on deposits too. Without even having to interrupt what she was doing to help. It’s a shame you guys couldn’t keep her.And now to get off of that soapbox and onto another one.Staffing is just not what it used to be here and it’s sad. The poor tellers that are left running ragged and it doesn’t seem fair at all. I hope it gets better. When I wait in line now I don’t feel like my time is being valued. More often than not I peek in the door and just leave to go to another location or wait to make my deposit until a time when I have 30+ minutes to wait around to get it done. I can tell the tellers are trying their best. But they’re not as supported staffing wise as they need to be. Leadership needs to do something about that before they lose even more staff

I had a wonderful experience at BB&T until they joined with Sun trust. Their customer service turned very unpleasant. I recently talked to a senior banker about opening CD. His attitude was a quite something else. He was constantly on the phone during our appointment. Another strangest thing was that he suddenly asked us to open money marketing accounts, without giving us much information. When I asked about the rate, he told me that he could only give us that information after we sign it. I've never seen a bank specialist treat customers such way. We ended up going to a different branch and the bank specialist was very helpful. It has been a very disappointing experience with Truist.

Everything about Truist is awful since the merger. Called wasted an hour on the phone after being hung up on while being transferred. The customer service main line is awful long hold times and nobody can help or even actually answer my problem. Told me to go to a local branch and they could help me since they couldn't but assured me they could. Of course they couldn't just was bounced around to be told they basically just felt like putting a admn hold on a deposit that they did in fact already take from the other persons account and I was just out of luck would have to wait til 10/5 for it to clear even though they already took the money from the other persons account at a better bank. Which is basically most since Truist is just plain awful, unhelpful or caring. Just one of several horrible experiences dealing with this bank. Definitely do yourself a favor use another bank dont deal with Truist.

The manager, Sherita is incredibly helpful and responsive to customers. She was right there for me when I had a problem. The tellers are always friendly and do a great job.

Here is a little known secret, don’t be fooled by the two ATM drive throughs!The lobby is open! No line. The lady that helped me was happy to see me, very friendly and did her job well. Please support them

I cannot express my gratitude towards Tiffany O'Leary, who served as our loan officer during the purchase of our first home. My husband and I were completely inexperienced and had absolutely NO idea what to expect when we decided to purchase our first home. From the very beginning, Tiffany was there every step of the way and even on weekends! She walked us through every step of the way, including how to save our funds, increase our credit scores, and find the best possible deal for us. She even called the seller of our new home and gave us both a financial and a character review which ultimately pushed the sellers to accept our contract! We have NEVER heard if a loan officer going above and beyond like that. I could not recommend her enough.
