Verizon has the all-time worst customer service! I was a customer of 23 years and I got a bill where they move my plan To a different plan which I did not approve and trying to get back I get a much higher bill so I’ve moved my account Consumer Cellular. I could never get an answer. They kept messing up my account for months in a row. I was on the phone yesterday for eight hours. All the support people were very nice, but after eight hours, I give up. Consumer cellular has an AARP member $55 for two lines unlimited data text and phone. Why would anybody stay with Verizon? I do not know.

I was having normal old person issues with erasing my old phone so that I could turn it for credit on the new phone that I got for my husband. Soon after it opened, I walked into this location and was immediately assisted by a gentleman who took care of me in no time. I always complain that Verizon is too high but you get what you pay for. Chucky was awesome and I’m sure he’s a great asset to this location. I’m willing to pay a bit more to have excellent customer service like I got from Chucky. Thanks!

2nd visit; returned trade-in. Both visits were without a line (go early) and both customer reps were pleasant, great to work with, and knowledgeable.

Store hours were wrong, opens at 10am not 9am. Employees rude when I asked what was going on. Hope Verizon changes something as I am a new customer.

Absolutely the most rude staff I have ever encountered in my entire life. You have someone die in your life and they treat you like you’re a criminal. This woman didn’t realize I was a banker and that I know the laws around deceased accounts and POAs. She’s not only rude she’s a liability to Verizon. She has no authority and cannot leagally tell me my documents are invalid. I have never been spoken to like that. I was not asking for anything outrageous. Do better

After losing my phone, and not knowing my pin, Dara spent a lot of time helping me get a new phone set up. I was 14 hours away from home and very scared at the thought of driving that far without a phone to use for GPS and to have in case of an emergency. I can't be more grateful to her!!

Despite corporate customer care directing us to the store to close an account of the deceased, the employees are doing everything to not help. From doubling up on customers, to pulling other customers who arrived later, the entire staff including management are dodging helping a grieving person. What has happened to society to completely lack empathy in this situation? To make a mother with her two young children visit multiple times, call corporate, be directed back, and still not help? Absolutely disgusting. AT&T will keep my phone service, and Verizon internet will promptly be cancelled in our home.

Such horrible customer service! I switched service to AT&T after my visit to this location. So happy I made the switch and such an easy transition, I don't like change. However, it is such a relief not to have to step foot in a Verizon store again or deal with the out of country phone customer service.

Excellent customer service. A friendly greeting at the door by Kevin at which time he immediately added me to the wait list. He was very friendly and very customer service oriented. Although there was a long wait, a representative George was assigned to assist me. George was extremely helpful, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable.The store manager a pretty and cheerful young lady, checked on me and the service I had received. I complimented her on having such a knowledgeable, helpful, customer oriented staff. It’s clear she has done a wonderful job with her team at the Mechanicsville, Verizon location. She even walked me to the door, holding it open for me while thanking me. Although, the store stays extremely busy, the representatives are very kind, patient and knowledgeable as well as having wonderful attitudes. Especially, Kevin, George, and the store manager.I left with a new cell, new phone number, new account as well as cell accessories. Thank you Mechanicsville Verizon team for such EXCELLENT service!!!
