Excellent customer service. A friendly greeting at the door by Kevin at which time he immediately added me to the wait list. He was very friendly and very customer service oriented. Although there was a long wait, a representative George was assigned to assist me. George was extremely helpful, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable.The store manager a pretty and cheerful young lady, checked on me and the service I had received. I complimented her on having such a knowledgeable, helpful, customer oriented staff. It’s clear she has done a wonderful job with her team at the Mechanicsville, Verizon location. She even walked me to the door, holding it open for me while thanking me. Although, the store stays extremely busy, the representatives are very kind, patient and knowledgeable as well as having wonderful attitudes. Especially, Kevin, George, and the store manager.I left with a new cell, new phone number, new account as well as cell accessories. Thank you Mechanicsville Verizon team for such EXCELLENT service!!!

Manager is rude and makes smart alexk comments. She needs to e demoted back down if my manager at my business made comments like that she would not be my manager any longer. She also does not represent your company products well says she is not into technology. Well go work for some one else.

This store can really be a either really good or a complete JOKE. I unfortunately forgot the gentleman’s name that helped me order my new phone but it came across he had no idea what he was doing. After telling me I would have the phone by the end of the week… a month has gone by. They have lost tracking multiple times. And I have talked to 5 different people that cannot find it and or one apparently in the entire state of VA. This is absolutely terrible customer service. I will never give this store my business or money again.

This has always been a strong, customer focused location. I have been shopping here for at least a decade, likely more, and they never fail to provide great service and good advice. They recommend the best plans and options, trying to find the best deal that will meet your needs.I recommend making an appointment in advance, just to limit the waiting time. They can get extremely busy during peak hours.

I wasn’t expecting to wait an hour after scanning the UR code at the front door. I already bought the phone online and set to pick up at the store for the next day. Got there around 5 knowing they would close at 7. So…..waited, waited, & waited to finally one of the sales people came over and started taking people out of turn. I was the second person, and I said I was there to pick up a new phone. They said, “let me see if we have it in stock.” Are you f’g kidding me?? Then comes out with the phone and gets salty when I want to buy one of their overpriced cases. At that point I didn’t even dare ask for a screen protector. Heck with it, should’ve just went to the Apple Store. At least they don’t make you wait like a herd of cattle.Lesson learned never to go back there, but it was the only Verizon store in the are near me.

Theres an a employee at this store that needs to be working a different job she entered my information in wrong over 4 different timesAnd i spent 2 hours in the store just to be told by the customer protection team i can not open a account they said by my information being entered in wrong so many times they think it’s fraud so they declined me from starting a new accountTerrible customer service

This Verizon store has gone down hill FAST! This is my third trip to this store to ask a few questions and to buy a new phone in the last 2 weeks.I have not been able to talk to any customer service representative with phone knowledge. My last trip here I left after waiting 35 minutes. Today a representative was on the floor just adding people to the que. All I wanted to know was which new phone comes with a headphone jack port. The representative said all I can tell you is you are 7th in the que and it's about 25 minutes per person. She said go online and buy your phone! To me that is not good customer service! We have always bought our phones here for our 4 lines for the past 18 years. There is no care at all just attitude each time you come to the store. This store used to have GREAT Customer Service! Management has no care about customers HERE Anymore! Bye Bye Verizon store.... Bestbuy or another Verizon store will take my money with a smile and be pleasant.

Worst service ever. Employees dont disclose proper information. Cheat you on upgrade, upcharge for services not need and are rude and not customer service friendly at all. Switched my plan and took my phone didnt even give me a new phone said switching to business internet would give me better capability and cant even connect with the router that's third party. I work from home, not own a business. Verizon employees at this location are awful to deal with and dont care about the customer just looking to upsell and over charge customers. Dont trust them.

If you didn’t know, there’s always a wait at this store. Do yourself a favor and set an appointment. That sounds strange but this is a popular store and for good reason. I’ve had nothing but good feelings when it comes to the staff. They’re knowledgeable and extra helpful. I had problems returning a phone (I created the problem by sending a UPS label through USPS and so it was returned with a sticker that when taken off ruined the label). I went into the store and the manager instantly recognized me. He said it would be about ten minutes. I told him I had to pick up groceries at Walmart next door and would be back in ten. He had me taken care of and even then another staff member came over to make sure I was attended to. THAT’S customer service. Know you’re going to have to wait but also know you’re going to be treated right.

So I get it. These people sell something everyone pretty much needs in today's world so they don't need to be efficient or helpful. I went there today prepared to buy a phone. So you get there and sign in with your Verizon app. Unlike other Verizon stores there is no one to greet you or ask why you are there. Even the DMV has someone to do this. Next you will wait over an hour. No one will even talk to you. So it is kind of surreal. Then you will overhear the polite manager tell someone else that it is after 6 so they don't do data transfers since they close at 7pm. (If they had someone to ask you why you were there then this could have been avoided ) So you will go. But while you waited you will have a fun time catching up on any work you can do on your phone. Don't plan on drinking water or using the restroom because there is no water or restroom available. You will be prompted to go to Jersey Mikes.
