I was traveling with nothing in sight. I was hungry and came upon what appeared to be a tackle bait mini mart with a Citgo gas station attached. I was hopeful that I'd at least be able to munch on some chips to hold me over. To my surprise I walked into the smell of fried chicken cooking. The aroma was too good to pass up. I bought chicken livers-gizzards and wings as well as some beverages and snacks for my journey. I was able to utilize their bathroom which was very clean. The service was very nice and charming hospitality. I recommended it to my family and will make it part of my stop returning home.

Rick's Mini Mart just reopened after a very extensive makeover! It's now got Citgo gas. I haven't stopped there since it opened again, but I'll increase my review by one star because it looks nice.

Don't stop here! My sisters truck caught fire and she asked to use their fire extinguisher. Employee would not let her. Fire grew and by time help arived it was too late. Her truck burnt to the ground. A simple act of kindness could hsve saved it.
