“Dr Vaughn and her LVTs/VAs are amazing. Dr Vaughn is very thorough and is always making sure you understand what was done and why. I have always been able to make appointments within the same week. I know all vets are expensive so considering that I say pricing is fair. I’m so sad that I moved far from her clinic because I 100% would’ve loved to have stuck with this clinic. For the 3 years I’ve been with them though everyone was so great and kind to my dog and cats. Receptionists seems to have changed but the previous ones were amazing! I’m not sure who is receptionist now”

“I can never recommend this place enough. In December 2023, our 6 month old puppy ate her sisters flea and tick collar unbeknownst to us. It was the day before Christmas Eve and our vets office was closed and we were panicked. We called Piedmont and they took us in immediately, even though we weren't current patients there. They were kind and amazing and saved our puppies life.

We immediately made them our #1 go to vet and haven't stopped recommending them to people. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. Our dogs absolutely love everyone there!”

“We are having a few medical issues with Hanno, our 5 y.o. German Shepherd. He had his first seizure about two months ago, then another one a month ago. At that point we opted to stop all pharmaceuticals (Apoquel, ProHeart 12) especially after learning they can cause seizures. Going forward we will get titers testing done before doing any further vaccinations.We looked around Boise for a holistic vet practiced in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) so we could holistically heal Hanno and thought we’d found one. The results were less than impressive and we are still waiting to hear back from them a week later!I remembered that Rebecca L G Verna is a Holistic Vet and I contacted her. This morning, she spent an hour and fifteen minutes on the facetime call with my wife and me. She asked a TON of questions and even looked at Hanno over the video. Her knowledge is impressive and I felt like she was really invested in his well-being. She gave Hanno more attention on the facetime call than the local “TCVM” vet did in person. Not an exaggeration at all.Going forward, our go to vet is Dr. Becky Verna at Paws for Holistic Pet Care and we will use the local vet to run the labs and do the ‘hands on’ things we cannot do over the phone. You want a vet who will lean forward into the care of your doggie, I highly recommend Rebecca L G Verna. Thank you Becky!”

“We used Piedmont Equine for an OCD lesion surgery and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our mare had solid care the entire time she was there and the surgery was successful. Dr. Lynch was extremely easy to communicate with and we felt more than comfortable leaving her in his hands for this. I don't believe he's full time with Piedmont but he's excellent and if anyone needs a surgeon, I recommend him! Their administrative support side were lovely and very easy to work with to coordinate everything and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable!”

“Great doctors and staff. We brought our lab in and they had to break some horrible news to us about his health and later on, help us put him down peacefully. They were extremely compassionate and patient through the whole process. During the worst part of the process, the doctor suggested we all go outside together and let him lay down in the grass to help our pups anxiety. It was such a kind a sweet gesture.”

They took the time to get to know her, as she is terrified of going to the vet. They ensure she always sees the same vet technician, provide exceptional care. This positive experience led me to bring my male dog to North Oatlands as well.

Unfortunately, my female dog broke her tail and required amputation. Despite her accidentally tearing off the bandage almost daily, they remained patient during the rewrapping process, ensuring her comfort throughout the healing journey.
Not only do I appreciate the doctors and vet techs; the front staff is always cheerful and helpful. I appreciate them as much as I appreciate the practitioners.

Prices are high here. And I mean very, very high. Sometimes one gets what she pays for, and sometimes not. In this case, the high cost justifies the special care received by my two dogs.”
