“This place is a venue and now a restaurant, which is now also open to the public. This was my first time here for lunch with my family of 4 adults and 2 children. We did not have a reservation, therefore, we had to wait for a table to become available around 2pm. We all enjoyed our lunch here. Jessie served my family nicely. My total bill was $135 exclusive of any gratuities. I will continue to return here for lunch.”

“I am a truck, driver and frequent hotels. Often I stay in 3.5 star most of the time this was my first day at a Candlewood and I will say I’ll never stay anywhere else. If I can help it. Amber at the front desk was more than helpful, and the manager lady was the same hospitality and customer service are above and beyond in this place I could not see how anyone could ever leave them at review, can’t wait to get back and enjoy the many amenities that come with staying at this place. “21 years after holding our wedding reception at the Wayside, we returned in Feb 2024 to hold a big birthday brunch. We were pleased in every possible way; from management to staff to setup to food, to facility and to prices charged, we could not have been mote satisfied. I think it very telling that the Wayside has a rating over 8 on a popular travel site while a nearby chain hotel that charges nearly twice as much for a room has a rating of only 4. I will go return to the Wayside for my next special event!”
