Probably one of the more unprofessional institutions I've seen. Over the last 2 years I've had to call at least 3 times for issues with setting up my online accounts. I initially requested to have my account set up so that when my checking account was empty it would draw from my savings. I spoke with 3 different people about this and I ended up getting charged $180 in overdraft fees because the account was set up incorrectly. I tried to fight it as I had been under the impression that the accounts had been set up to prevent overdraft but I still had to pay $90. The last couple times I've been met with some incredibly rude staff. I spoke to someone in December and I was constantly interrupted while I tried to tell her what I needed help with. She was not at all helpful. Earlier today I tried calling several times and was hung up on several times (I'm not sure if this was a phone issue, the weather here was fine) before I was finally able to speak with another person. All the times I've called the representatives sound like they couldn't care less about their job. I've had enough of dealing with the lack of professionalism and help here.

The people inside the branch and really nice. The mobile deposit app is absolutely the worst app I've ever used for this purpose. Imagine you are trying to deposit a CLEARLY printed government check for property tax refund. It took 30 minutes. The app said the clearly printed amount of the check didn't match my entry. Then, the account holder's name doesn't match (it did, to the letter). Then it repeatedly complained that it couldn't detect all 4 corners when they were clearly visible in the photo. After about 20 retakes on different background in three different rooms, it accepts the front of the check. But it wasn't done!! Oh no. No, then it began rejecting the back of the check saying it wasn't signed. It was. I got a freaking jet black sharpie and went over my signature that had been in legible, plain black ballpoint pen. Oh joy! Finally it takes the signature! Do yourself a favor and don't even bother to use Argent's mobile deposit app. It's faster to drive to the branch.

If you want an financial institution that actually cares about their members when in a tough spot, stay away from Argent, esp the one on Walmart Way. I have been with them for over two years, have two forms of lending, and never late on anything. My pup is having some medical issues so I was trying to get funds from a car I had with equity to help pay for it. I sold the car to Carmax, came in with the Carmax stub, and asked for as much as I could available. They said half in two days. I asked if I could at least get $1000 (not even a quarter of the check) to pay my vet bill the next day (even showed them the email for the appointment , AND the stub from Carmax). They said they couldn’t give me anything because I didn’t have higher balances (if I had larger balances I wouldn’t need funds available). They were closer than my primary bank and I was on my lunch break so I came there. I’ve worked in banking for 15 years. Both the big bank I worked at and especially the credit union I currently work for would release funds if they could verify the check. And trust me a CarMax check is easy to verify. And I was asked if I work in banking I should understand the check hold policy. I do, I understand that most credit unions are there to be there for their members. The check I bought in was rather large and trust I will not be keeping any of the funds at Argent after this. I also have a new car loan I was thinking of refinancing there since I had my other car… But nope!. Oh and I have a mortgage too….. Guess who wont be getting any of my future lending needs.

I have had great experiences with Argent at all the branches. I gave this review a 2 star rating because all I wanted to do was log into the on-line banking and I couldn't get past the "give a review" pop up. ARRRG for pesky pop-ups that won't let me get to my business when I want to do it

While this is only one of three credit unions I stopped at today to try and place a deposit into my Dominion Credit Union... they would not take checks for my children as they were considered 'third party'. Never mind that there are no other Moerner's in the state, and one was from my Dad (same last name by the way).Asked the branch manager, he said no go...Will make sure to not keep this place in mind in the future...

This location is great. Convent to where I live and the tellers are always great. I've been banking here for little over 6 years and I have never had an issue.

Great credit union, very friendly staff. I don't go often as it's a bit out of the way, but they have safety deposit boxes at this location and whenever I do go here, the people are incredible
