Brought over a car from CarMax for a pre-buy inspection, he was fast and efficient, very friendly and thorough. He gave a lot of insight into Volkswagen ownership that we wouldn't have thought of if he hadn't brought it up. We'll definitely use him again in the future.

Amazing mechanics, owner is a funny guy too. They helped me with an issue that my car had, that no one else in the area wanted to help me with. Was super honest with pricing, Budd always had a heart to listen and resolve issues I was having with my vehicle. Very thankful to find these guys, bring them any problem you have and I’m sure they will get you right!

Budd is the best mechanic I have found in the Richmond area. Very friendly, open, and honest about your vehicle needs. If he can’t complete the job (ex: windshield) he’ll send you a contact for someone in the area who can. I’ve had zero issues on all the different things he’s replaced for me over the year. He is affordable as well and a wonderful human on top of it all. I’ve recommended Budd to all my friends in the area and will continue to do so. He’s the best!

If you need any work done on your car, Budd’s is the best!! I called around 3 pm one day and they were able to fit me in. They were super nice and courteous, and made it so easy to get in and get out. As a woman in her 20’s, I’ve had some pretty bad experiences of car repair places lying and charging more to fix non-existent issues. I 100% trust this place, and I think they are one of the few repair shops operating with honesty and integrity to actually help out their customers

Budds was great. Very personable and easy to talk to. Got my car's AC going again and even offer additional future help if needed. Straightforward and did not try to sell me stuff I didn't need/want, and I really appreciate that. Highly recommended.
