Thought I would update. First, to be truthful, this place is cheap - but you get what you pay for. They cannot manage the technology they rely on, and apparently don't care if it works or not. Since VA CU kicked us off of their machines, I use Call's so much more often. I have called and called about the one on the front at Call Federal Blvd or whatever it is not counting a stack of bills - put in 5 bills and it bitches at you about more than 5 - for years. Now that the virus has removed any chance of personal service, you would think they would step up their machine game - nope - same sloppy service. I have been to a machine behind the main branch, had it show me it was down, had a kid in the window refuse to help me, called back in to complain, and been told it was being quickly serviced at that moment - this after I drove miles to another location. Wouldn't a paper sign - Hang On for 3 Minutes - have been appropriate? Lately I've been questioning their hold policy - you get $200 of a $200 check today, the rest later, unless you waste a bunch of time talking to a manager, or deposit more than one check. Apparently, 50 $20 checks will trigger the hold and only release $200 now and the rest later - so the operation does not match the policy. The machine KNOWS there are multiple checks, it prints pictures - the code just doesn't bother to operate per the rule. I'm still waited for my complaint follow up call on this... Today I went to Chester, parked in the rows as it was a business day, saw a car blocking the fire lane, and turned out it was a CU employee who couldn't be bothered to park correctly while he worked. While I was determining what the machine wouldn't do today (anything) the branch manager joined the illegal parker. I did see 2 rather minor 'loads' ( stack of papers and a sanitizer stand) leave the vehicle, as I walked back to my car to get a camera as the machine first told me no receipts - as though a paper problem. After I walked back with my camera ( I parked a long way away - 60 feet to protect my car's doors, see pics) the machine now told me NO DEPOSITS at all. The manager saw my distress and went to reset the machine, talked a bit to the other employee, and returned to tell me power had gone out LAST NIGHT. I have to surmise that every customer since last night (now 2:30 PM) had also been refused. Wouldn't resetting the machine be the first thing you did if you cared about your tech, knew the power had been out, and it did this sort of thing? Shouldn't the machine system call you, or you call it periodically to see if it's OK? I find this whole crew is way too busy patting themselves on the back and spending way too little time and effort on preserving the tech that serves us.

My family and I conduct bank business with multiple financial institutions. As a Call Federal member for 5 years, alleged 'financial firms' have nothing that compares with the Premium service at Call Federal.

Ever since I got a car and credit card with these people they have treated me like garbage. I wish I knew who to speak to to let them know their company is rude and unacceptable

This is the best place to bank in the area. I have been a member for many years and I love the feel of a small town bank, but the power of a large bank. The have amazing rates for home equity, auto loans and just about anything that you would need. I have financed all of my vehicles, home equity loan and other loans through this bank. Also, don't get scared by the idea if you travel and you won't be able to get more money. They have an agreement with other small credit unions and its always free to withdrawal at a Sheetz gas station, so don't let that scare you away from banking here. Before you sign up with a large bank, look at call federal credit union, I don't think you will be disappointed in the service, quality or rates from this place!
