I do not recommend! This school is always understaffed so they turn away children if the are not there by 9:30 . There is no grace period regardless of the circumstances. Very unprofessional when it come to problem resolution. There always seems to be a issue with the staff ; whether it be a dramatic situation among the staff or the staff being clearly upset about the low staffing to the point when us "Parents " walk in and greet the staff they clearly give a sigh of annoyance and let us know that they had a hard day because the school is so unorganized in every way .they send out emails through the Childrens app asking parents to leave their kids home due to the low staffing regardless if we payed for that week or not . The school has definitely went down hill since we first started attending!

I have never been more concerned for the safety and wellbeing of the children at this facility. There is favoritism among the children, unprofessional staff, low staff but they have their "Enroll now" sign up and putting more stress on the staff by maxing out their capacity. They have a "cut-off" time to check in at 9am, they will not let you enter the classroom past this time. The food is garbage, oatmeal every day, no utensils for the older kids. The leaders don't care about your children, they just want your money. They try to find ways to send the children home early (based off a couple other parents I have spoken to). One of the staff members are very aggressive physically with the "more difficult" kids and when they don't listen or are having a hard time. I absolutely want you to be aware of this before considering enrollment

I do not use this service, but my friend does, and I got to enjoy a graduation for the little ones today, they are amazing and kind staff and really take care of the kids. 5/5 Stars, I highly recommend them!

My child attends before and after care here, along with summer care. We had a very scary situation happen today while she was in their care and I'm so thankful for them! They did a great job taking care of the emergency and one of my daughters favorite teachers even came out to visit her in the hospital. Big shout out to the staff can't thank you all enough!

We started my daughter here in Jan 2021 when she was 9 months old. We had never used a daycare before and we're really nervous about choosing a center, and ultimately went with Childtime's Mallard Landing location because of how the staff made us feel. They also send us updates throughout the day about what she's doing or eating, and they send us pictures! We love this daycare and are so happy to be part of this community!

I have had the best experience with this location.. The teachers here are just the absolute best. They are so sweet and truly care about your child. I switched to this daycare do to it being closer to work, it was the best decision I could have made.

I couldn’t ask for a better place to take my children each day! With everything going on right now I know that my children are safe and loved throughout the day... the teacher are truly vested in the best interest of the children. Education and love it’s a home away from home.

My daughter (2 years old), who is delayed & moderately Autistic started about 2-3 months ago at this location & it’s been a great experience! It’s a relief taking her somewhere knowing she’s safe. The brightwheel & WatchMeGrow app are great features! You get updates on your child throughout the day and you can pull up real time video to see what they are doing throughout the day. Staff is friendly and well versed in childcare and address you in a very professional manner. Best value in childcare I’ve seen , as they have great hours, provide snacks and breakfast/lunch & the diapers and wipes!

We are very happy with the level of care our daughter receives here. The staff is very professional and loving towards the children. Our daughter is in pre-k and will be very well prepared for kindergarten.

Our granddaughter is thriving at Childtime Midlothian and really looks forward to her before and after school program. In the early morning when her Dad drops her off, the caring staff helps get her going with healthy activities and snack. The Childtime small bus safely transports her to and from kindergarten. After school is a combination or playtime and working on homework with another snack, and of course Childtime is available all day when schools are closed. The greatest advantage is that I can see her from my cellphone on the WatchMeGrow live video! It gives me great comfort knowing she’s safe, happy and growing in a very positive environment. The manager, Tiffany, is professional, caring, responsive and supportive- and she usually answers the phone and always gets back with me promptly if I have any questions. Thank you, Childtime!!! We’re so happy we chose to entrust you with the care of our precious granddaughter!

Hey Tiffany! Hope the Child Time Family is well! I just wanted to share with you some great feedback about Alanah and her first nine weeks in Kindergarten! She earned a “3” in all subjects, her VKRP score was 80 out of 102, and she surpassed all benchmarks on her PALS testing! She has adapted so well and I definitely wanted to give the Center credit for giving her a solid foundation in Pre-K!

The girls here do a great job with my little ones overall, but I sometimes kind of feel my 5 year old gets put on the back burner at times when the staff praises how good he and my 6 month are. I also wish when we pick them up, I got a better summary of what he was working on so we can continue helping at home (like what the songs were he was supposed to know for their graduation party). I love the staff here they really are great, but I'm not a huge fan of how they run the admin part. My husband and I explained when we signed the contract about payments that we don't get paid until Thursday and Friday's of each week and even though we would try our best to flip it to pay each Monday before it would be very hard. At first we were told it would be okay and we have NEVER not paid by Thursday when picking up and we never have made a fuss about the extra 30 dollars in late fees they tact on even after we've explained why, but every single week from Tuesday until Thursday I not only get emails harrassing about either pay or kids can't go the next day but my husband has been called at his actual work number saying if he doesn't GO and pay right then and there since they also don't take payment over the phone, he has to go get the kids right away. It's too stressful! We have never missed a week paying on our paydays and it's still the same thing all the time. It would kind of be nice if they switched how they view getting cuts and scrapes and receiving payments so maybe I would know ahead of time when my son falls and gets a 2 inch long cut down his arm before I get there rather than just being told he fell he's fine no big deal just sign here and then looking and seeing that no, it was kind of a bigger deal than what I was told.

Since my child has started going, there has been a huge vocabulary increase and knowledge expansion. I feel the staff is very involved. I along with my child know most if not all by name. I like how you can send notes to the teacher throughout the day and get updates and pictures even video of what they are doing at anytime. They are very transparent with their curriculum and health agenda. I like how each child has a new responsibility each week such as line leader or lunch helper or cheer giver. Everyday I get a verbal and app progress report. The staff is friendly and engaged with the kids and parents. My child loves their teachers and has lots to talk about everyday. They do lots of crafts and encourage educational and healthy (food) behaviors at home as well. I get emails and newsletters along with a calendar at school that shows food and activities to enforce education. They also encourage a family atmosphere by having potlucks and various events for families and have an open door policy for parents at any time. I am very pleased with the education and involvement of this center.

Went to visit today to see if this daycare was a good fit. Tiffany is awesome! Very informative and she is very excited about her daycare and the kids. I have never used a daycare before but this Child Time made me feel more comfortable about it. Needless to say we are registered and will be starting soon.
