I can’t say enough good things about Clover Hill Tire & Auto. The first time I brought in my 1995 GMC van, I was braced for the usual “you-also-need-this” routine. Instead, Steve and his team did exactly what was necessary—nothing more—and walked me through every finding with total transparency.
What really sets them apart is their integrity. More than once, I pointed out something I thought needed fixing, and Steve calmly explained why it wasn’t urgent or even an issue. He told me, “If this were my van, I’d wait until it actually shows symptoms before spending the money.” That kind of honesty is rare anywhere—let alone in auto repair.
Their pricing has always been fair, and they’ve looked out for both me and my company fleet. They suggest practical, cost-effective solutions instead of padding the bill, and they’ve saved me money more times than I can count.
Most recently, I went to Discount Tire for an alignment, and they told me they couldn’t do it because of a rounded bolt that supposedly needed replacement. I took the van straight to Clover Hill, expecting a big bill—maybe parts cut off or replaced—but they had it done the same day. My total wasn’t even over $150. I was shocked, in the best way possible.
These guys are honest, skilled, and genuinely care about their customers. Every time I go anywhere else first, I regret it. Clover Hill Tire & Auto has earned my trust twice over, and I’ll keep coming back. They treat your vehicle and your wallet as if they were their own.

The team at Clover Hill Tire and Auto are incredible! A few weeks ago, my husband and I were in a bind with a rental car with a flat tire. They got us in within a few hours on a busy Friday morning to take a look at it. Unfortunately, the tire couldn’t be repaired without replacing it, but they were kind enough not to charge us for their time/labor, since they couldn’t fix it. They even took pictures so we could go back to deal with the rental company. Incredibly helpful and honest and we really appreciated their kindness that day!

i’m never taking any car here ever again.
had to get my car towed here after a coolant bursted hose in my car. after i got my car back once the issue was fixed, i turned it on and a loud and very worrying grinding sound came from the engine. this is a sound i’ve never heard from this car before, including the day it had to be dropped off to get fixed. so clearly (im thinking due to the fact that they had to remove and put back a lot of parts to get to the damaged hose?) they were at fault. after explaining this they told me that sound was always there, and offered to fix this problem for a price. when the car was towed it was driven on and off the ramp. both times this noise was not present. so i’m pretty much confident that they’re just lying.
i had the car towed to a different shop (recommended by a family member who knows a good bit about cars and goes there) who took a look at the car and told me about the issues with the car that Clover Hill Tire & Auto had missed, let me know that the coolant fix was done poorly (caused the grinding noise and the coolant reservoir wasn’t fully bled) and also that when i got my car originally inspected there that they failed to notice or tell me about numerous issues including one of the belts being too small???? as well as my power steering pump being in bad shape? cmon guys.
not the first time i’ve felt weird about this shop, on numerous occasions i brought an old car here knowing that i had an issue with my power steering belt only for them to say they fixed it and the power steering issues were back within days. amongst a lot of other minor things
so basically if you want to get your oil changed here for a decent price, go for it. but don’t trust them with inspections or anything more

I stopped in unexpectedly, my car running like an outlaw…. The shop was booked a week out, which made sense when I considered and looked closer at this well run operation. The fella working the front who told me this said.. I will go out with you and see if I can help, help you diagnose what the actual problem you’re having is…. And he did exactly that. I said, brother I really appreciate the heck out of you for doing that, for helping me to at least know…..what I’m up against ….Yes sir Glad could be of some help…. I believe he is Mr. Harding… i can’t remember his first name…. Hecksometines I can’t remember my open name….

I have been coming to Clover Hill Tire for many years. The Staff are friendly, trustworthy and honest. I have had routine maintenance done and other repairs with no complaints. Their prices are competitive and they have a 2 year/24k mileage warranty. I have recommended many friends and all have had good experiences.

If you have anything serious going on with a vehicle don’t bring it here is what I learned. If it’s something simple like oil change or breaks I’d say they have the ability to perform those tasks. I had to tow my car to another shop when I had it towed up there I told them it can not be started it would mess up the motor even more I had just replaced a valve cover and one bolt broke when putting it back on so the new gasket never sealed and the first thing they did was go out try to start it then called me and said “hey your car won’t start” good thing I had the spark plug wires still disconnected because they did the opposite from the start.

Our go-to for all vehicles up until recently. A lot of work being charged for that wasn’t being done. Generally this business went from super reputable, to untrustworthy in about 8 months. Worth looking elsewhere until they get things sorted out.
