Normally I love this practice but man oh man did today remind me why I hate providers. Simply because anxiety is listed in my chart, providers think it’s perfectly fine to dismiss every single symptom of mine as anxiety. Wouldn’t surprise me if I got shot one day and a doctor told me to just get a prescription for an antidepressant or anti anxiety medication.Came in for severe sleep deprivation. Saw the PA. Not my normal PCP. From the moment the appt started, I was dismissed for anxiety. I was told I shouldn’t be paying that close attention to how long I had been awake for because it’ll make my anxiety worse. I’ve never seen this woman in my life yet somehow she just knows that my chronic sleep deprivation that I’ve had since childhood is simply caused by anxiety? That’s odd. Not to mention I told her I’m not feeling anxious whatsoever.She asked me if I had a therapist or if I was on antidepressants or anti anxiety medications. The entire appointment was surrounding me being anxious and not surrounding the fact that I’ve been awake for 45 hours and sleep aid medications aren’t helping. She told me to get an appointment with my therapist as soon as possible and then she increased the dosage of a medication that ISNT WORKING. I was not listened to at all. It was just anxiety this or anxiety that. It’s not like I was sitting in the exam room rocking back and forth crying or freaking out. I was sitting there very calmly just saying hey I’m very sleep deprived and I need help. How does that equate to me being anxious and needing antidepressants and needing to see my therapist stat?That entire experience was extremely unhelpful and harmful. Here I am at 11:42 pm, having only gotten 5 hours of sleep intermittently since 10:30 am today. I have been awake since 12:20pm on 9/12. Maybe your PA needs to learn to not just focus on one symptom and one symptom only. Providers treating patients like this is extremely harmful and people kill themselves over this kind of treatment. Do better.

When Dr Neeley left the practice I was worried but Dr Todd Reynolds is my doctor now and he’s wonderful. I’ve never had any problems with the practice and find the office staff, and nurses all friendly and helpful

My doctor of 20+ years left the practice saying only his decision was "not financial". I elected to stay with the practice; my mistake.Last month I developed flu-like symptoms and took an at-home Covid 19 test on a Friday that confirmed I was positive. I called the office stressing that I was a senior, had tested positive for Covid and was experiencing symptoms. A nurse spoke to me saying, " we don't have openings today, we will see you Monday." I stressed to her that this was an emergency, I was a senior, and could not wait 3 days for an appointment. I also offered to see any doctor in the practice if my provider was too busy. The nurse dismissed my suggestion saying, " that's not how we do business". CPC knows the risk of advising a senior Covid patient to wait 3 days to get treatment but turned me away just the same. I will not be back.I went to an urgent care facility that immediately put me on a Covid prescription cocktail, and despite a rough weekend, by the early part of the following week I had shown improvement. I hate to think what might have happened if I had taken the nurse's advice and delayed treatment until the following week.

This has been my primary care for years and it's beyond insane that I cannot get any type of appointment for 6 months. Will be switching to a different facility. Also, the last time I went left a bad taste in my mouth when the doctor tried to force me to get the covid vaccine without asking my permission.

Great office and staff. Fyi you can use the free wifi from the dentist office next door if you find yourself with low/no cell signal inside.

Dr Gooss at Sommerville Family practice location, is excellent! Caring, takes time to talk and explain, and answer questions I have. The staff is friendly and kind.

Called to schedule an appointment with Dr. McLean and was greeted by the most rudest scheduler. The way she spoke to me was if I was bothering her, in her condescending tone. She told me I couldn't come in until December 20th which I said ok. I was then asked what day I wanted as if I knew the Dr's schedule. Then she stated I couldn't even come that week because her booked was blocked for the holidays. I asked was there any availability before the 20th to be told if I came before (the annual date)I would need to sign a waiver. The problem is this she didn't know my insurance details, because I would have told her I get one visit per year. It sounds like some training on customer service needs to happen. So disappointed, because I never received this type of treatment from the Huguenot location.

Very professional, comforting and well rounded office. Staff is always so greeting and makes me feel right at home. Dr. Reynolds has taken very good care of me

Dr. Todd Reynolds is my doctor and I have only good things to say about him. He takes his time with his patients and answers questions without trying to push you out the door. He seems to genuinely care for his patients. He responds quickly through the portal. In my opinion, he's the best doctor in this office.

I've been going to this practice for many years and would be devastated if I had to switch. I started with Dr. Beckom who retired a few years later. My file was switched over to Dr. Palen, and I have loved her since our first visit. She listens to me, understands my quirks, takes good care of me, and she is a hugger! She told me that during our first visit. I'm so glad she is my physician. The front office staff have always been friendly and welcoming. I was ill last week, and Dr. Palen wasn't in the office that day. I was seen by Dr. Reynolds that afternoon, and was very pleased with his friendliness and knowledge. He answered all my questions, diagnosed my sinus infection quickly and gave me meds. Thank you to this group. I've seen 3 of the doctors and have been pleased each time.
