Do NOT Buy from Empowered PC
I strongly advise against buying from Empowered PC. I purchased a physically branded, custom-modified laptop from them in March 2025, and within six months it became completely inoperable. Despite repeated follow-ups and two separate RMAs, the company refused to honor the warranty on a critical component—the motherboard—claiming it was “used” or “B-stock,” and insisting only the parts they installed were covered.
I was quoted $1,544 for a new OEM motherboard with just a 60-day warranty, or roughly $700 for a third-party part with only a 30-day warranty. Their customer service manager repeatedly provided dishonest statements about warranty coverage, and I have emails proving their dishonesty, leaving me with a defective product and no real recourse.
This experience has been frustrating, dishonest, and unacceptable. Do NOT use Empowered PC—go with any other competitor.

I recently had an issue with my Panorama Gaming PC, and Computer Upgrade King's customer service absolutely exceeded my expectations. The processor started failing, and they honored the warranty without hesitation. I spoke with Derek, who was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive throughout the entire process.
They allowed me to drop the system off the next morning, which I truly appreciated since I didn’t have proper shipping materials. I drove four hours to their facility, set up at a nearby library to work remotely, and to my surprise, I got a call mid-afternoon letting me know the repair was already done! I picked it up that same day, drove home, and it’s been working flawlessly ever since.
I had put off contacting support for months because I generally dread it, but I’m so glad I finally did. Derek made it all hassle-free and smooth. The level of accommodation, speed, and technical knowledge I experienced was top-notch. I’m incredibly grateful for how well this was handled—thank you!

Sells laptops on Amazon indicating it comes with a Microsoft lifetime license and doesn't clearly note the license is only for 2021 and not applicable for Microsoft 365 users.

I ordered an HP desktop computer and it arrived in a timely manner. The graphics card was not operating properly at first. Justin walked me through the process from diagnosing the problem to swapping for a replacement. They offered multiple options for a replacement which I really appreciated and future customers would appreciate as well as they adapt to our needs. They were able to send me a replacement, again in a timely manner, and it works perfectly. Justin even went as far as contacting me to give me the tracking number and to give me updates. I also appreciated this extra step of checking in when he didn't have to. Even though there was a bump in the road (and it could have been a manufacturer issue or even an issue during transit--outside of their control), it ended perfectly when it could have easily went sour like how some other businesses operate. I would work and buy from this company again and urge anyone considering purchasing to know they are great to work with.

I purchased the HP 2023 Newest Pavilion Desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (8 cores), 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD, 2TB HDD, AMD Radeon Graphics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Keyboard and Mouse Combo, 9 USB Ports, Windows 11 on Amazon. First of all - I had already purchased this same computer model with only 32GB Ram and only 1TB SSD space for over $300 more at Best Buy. I felt I had overpaid, so I searched on Amazon and found this HP from Computer Upgrade King. I returned the Best Buy purchase and placed the order for this computer. The computer arrived quickly and was well packaged. I was nervous, wondering what would happen if I had any issues. Not only am I thrilled about the money I saved, but this company has the best customer service/tech support I have dealt with in years. They responded to my concerns immediately, and their tech, also, helped me solve a display issue that had nothing to do with my purchase - just my lack of understanding about how to load a display driver. I highly recommend this company. I will be ordering from them again in the future.

I ordered a HP laptop and after I received it, the keyboard stopped working almost during the setup of the computer. Worked with HP techs many times to fix the problem, but it never worked. I contacted Computer Upgrade King and Vitaliy G. was great to work with. Worked with me in getting the computer shipped back and a new one was returned to me on a very timely basis. When you depend on your laptop for your business, time is critical and with their help, I was able to get through a very serious situation with a good ending.

I recently had a power outage and when the power came on my computer would not restart. I put a ticket in with the computer company that built it for help troubleshooting and received couple things back to check. They told me if they did not help it was my motherboy. So I placed a call to the retailer of the computer and spoke with the CSR Derek and he mentioned that before I ordered any expensive parts try disconnecting the CMOS battery first and to my surprise the computer started right up.
This little tip saved me several hundred dollars and time. Computer upgrade king will get all my computer business in the future. Thank you again Derek.

April 2022 I bought CUK MPG Velox by MSI Gaming Desktop (Intel Core i9-12900F, 64GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD + 3TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB, Windows 11 Home) from Computer Upgrade King thru Amazon. I bought from them because the price was reasonable and they had good reviews. Last month we had a power outage that caused the computer not to boot up. I contacted customer support at Computer Upgrade King. Justin troubleshot the computer then shipped me replacement RAM at no cost. This fixed the problem. It was easy to contact him and communicate. Great company! I have been very happy with the computer and their support. If shopping for another computer I will go back to them.
