Attention everyone!!! PLEASE DON'T BUY NOTHING FROM THIS PLACE. I called to order flowers for the whole facility at the NATIONAL GUARD. the manager is telling me. I should have this delivered on the 13th instead of the 14th I told her I wanted delivered on the 14th. She told me she didn't want my service I was about to spend $3500 on roses. WOW. Very rude no customer service

In my opinion, the flowers I ordered looked like a $10.99 grocery store bouquet stuck in a dinky little dollar store clear glass vase.. ..not a piece of ribbon or tulle or embellishment to be seen. For goodness sake, you can buy a three pack of crinkly ribbon in the dollar store, or a coupla yards of tulle in the fabric store with a coupon! The longer stem flowers (like 2 sunflowers) were cut down to fit the puny little vase...maybe scale the arrangement, not just crop them off to fit?? In my opinion, no style, no skill and nowhere near the double bump in value I ordered for $110. I'm sure margins are tight, but really? No need for a refund...it is what it is. Will not be using them again!

This is the only florist we use in the Midlothian area. Their designs are always so beautiful and very fresh. We are always amazed at the varied and gorgeous blooms in each one. Each time we have ordered they take the time to make sure the arrangement is well suited to the recipient and occasion. Highly recommend this florist!

My sister knows my favorite flowers are daisies! So she ordered me a bouquet. However, I received a lovely bouquet of red roses and lilies. When Janice was contacted, she was so pleasant and was so sorry for the mix-up. A new bunch of daisies was delivered the next day. She told me I could keep the rose bouquet but I returned that to the driver when he delivered my daisies! Amazing customer service! Thank you Janice!

I ordered $89.00 worth of flowers for local delivery two days in advance (ordered during business hours for scheduled delivery two days later during business hours) and paid in full. I received an email confirmation of the order and the date of planned delivery. Unfortunately, the day of planned delivery came and went without delivery of the flowers. There was no contact initiated by the business or delivery person on the scheduled day of delivery. In addition, there is no way to contact the business by email or website, only phone. I will update this review if/when the business makes things right.I have no doubt Hori website is correct. Flowers were delivered somewhere but not to the actual condo unit provided. Had the driver actually attempted to deliver to the condo unit, they would’ve had to access a secure building door which would only b e possible by calling a specific phone number, which never occurred. Also,, an individual was at the address the entire day. That person to whom the flowers were to be delivered, also has a phone number that was submitted along with the online order. After reading all the other reviews, it seems the issue is not with the product but the delivery service.So, can your website prove where the flowers were actually left? Is there picture proof?Well, I have photo proof. Here is the delivery left in a public lobby with identifying information on a card outside a locked entry door with no evidence the driver or delivery person ever made an attempt to contact the purchaser or the recipient and therefore never made an attempt to actually deliver the flowers to the condo unit in question.

My birthday arrangement was beautiful, and long-lasting! I changed the water, clipped the stems, and culled the wilted flowers regularly - and enjoyed this gift for 3 weeks!

They have always exceeded expectations. My wife tested positive for COVID 4 hours before our wedding, so we had to scramble to get a fresh bouquet when we rescheduled. Janice and her ladies made a beautiful bouquet. I have used them ever since. Today they made my wife happy with the arrangement sent to her office. Thank you.

Would not recommend!! Didn't have the best experience with this florist. I thought since they were in the neighborhood and local they would be a great choice. I previously used them approximately 4 years ago for a corsage for my son's prom. It turned out nice and I was pleased.Moving forward they were my go to choice so I highly recommended them to my mother for my dad's funeral arrangement. She ordered soft, pastel flowers with white lilies. When I picked up the arrangement the day before the funeral I was highly disappointed in the arrangement with all bright colorful flowers like it was a spring bouquet. I didn't say anything because it was closing time and I didn't want to upset my mother since it was already an upsetting and traumatic time for the family. The $$ she paid for the arrangement was not worth what she received especially for a funeral. My mother later voiced her disappointment in the arrangement and stated that's not what she asked for not what she expected for her husbands funeral.A few months later I called the florist to ask for a printed itemized receipt that I needed to turn into a company of expenses my mother incurred to pay for my fathers funeral.They originally sent a text receipt. Not friendly or cooperative nor willing to help or accommodate us in anyway. Not willing to write up a receipt or come up with anything I could turn in based on the text receipt I received. Said they couldn't prove I even purchased from them (even with the receipt I had to show them they sent me). She kept trying to get me off the phone I asked to speak to the manager and she was there as well stating the same thing. They brushed me off and refused to help in anyway.Highly disappointed in such unprofessionalism especially from an owner and staff member not to accommodate a customer especially at an already delicate, sensitive time. By the time I stayed on the phone asking for their assistance they could have already had something printed up. It would have taken 5 minutes or less to come up with a receipt.Will never use or recommend their services to friends, family, neighbors or anyone in the future. Will actually mention my bad experience with them.

I Googled for florist in the zip code of my friend and Designs by Janice attracted me. I called and talked to Shirley to chat about the occasion I was sending an arrangement for and after exchanging all necessary information we concluded our call. Hours later I was called by the recipient with overjoyed excitement about the arrangement and delivery. They shared photos with me and I am pleased I had chosen Janice. Chef's kiss ? on my business with your company. I have you tagged should I need future needs.

Very cold and rainy today - while the arrangement was beautiful it was left on my front porch where there is a sign that clearly indicates to make deliveries to back door. They did not ring doorbell to notify us of a delivery and we do not generally use front door and just happened to see the arrangement as we were leaving the driveway. Have tried to call all morning to let them know of this and keep getting a recording they are busy and to try call another time!!!!!

Design by Janice stole my money. I placed a $100+ order to be delivered same day and it was not delivered. They had an address that did not exist but they claimed they made the delivery. I asked how could they have delivered to a house that doesn’t exist and they said they looked at Google Maps. I pulled up Google Maps and it showed a street with multiple houses. They even called the recipient who told them there was no house with that address on that street and they were still unwilling to fix the problem saying it would cost them. She then hung up in my face. Very poor customer service and not how you resolve problems. I would not recommend anyone use this business. Also, upon further research, I see that there are other negative reviews that indicate poor customer service and a poor attitude amongst the staff. Save yourself the headache and deal with a company who will appreciate your business and want to establish a long term relationship with their customers.***Per the business reply below that, in fact, is a lie because how can you deliver to an address that does not exist, maybe Designs by Janice, should try to exhibit better customer service and then they won’t have to worry about replying to negative google reviews with lies that deflect from the truth. Do yourself and favor and don’t do business with a company that is obviously very short on grace and treating customers with care and kindness.***
