Friendliest people best customer service, i bank with 3 banks, and the other two don't carry a candle to this bank when I need to talk to somebody at the bank they have a direct number to call and they always have always have a person to answer the phone and help me. Highly recommend First citizens.

I just visited this location to withdraw money from my saving account...my regular bank is an hour and thirty minutes away from here...but I felt so disrespected I almost lost my cool. I gave the teller my driver's license and my check card...She preceded to ask me questions about my account, that I think wasn't needed... for instance I was asked...Where I opened my account and when did I make my last deposit and she copied all my information down from my I.D and took forever to give me money...she acted like I was trying to scam the bank. This has never happened to me before...And yes I'm an African American. But she wasn't Caucasian or of African decent. But not trying to make this about race. But how does a 2 min transaction turn into a 5 min ordeal? When I have given you everything you need to complete the transaction.

They have been holding my insurance claim check for over a week denying me every which way they can. Then they had the audacity to ask me if the work would on my home had been completed??????? Kind of hard when you don’t have the fund to fix the damages. We are talking a substantial amount of money due to storm damage and my home has been in shambles for over a month and this is the so called help I get from this company. I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment that we have received from several of these banks employees. To this company we are just another number not a family in turmoil.

This is not the warmest First Citizens that I have visited, but I think the staff is Professional and that they are trying to be an efficient bank with a small town, friendly feel. I will commend Colleen on her extraordinary customer service and Keith is kind, once he get to know you. I would recommend this bank and I feel that they will only improve.

I think this is a good bank. I was reading through the comments and I have to say they have valid points, there are things I wish First Citizens would change. However what they lack, they more than make up for in person to person service. They are always friendly, and always seem to bend over backwards for our us and our accounts with them. It has the small town feel which a lot of banks don't have. Now if they can merge that small town personal feel with little more high end tech, it would be 5/5. But I'm Very happy we bank with First Citizens Bank! :)

I would never pick this bank if I had a choice. No Saturday hours. No option for after hours deposits for business checking. They charge me for deposit of cash (?) and sign me up for paper Statements then charge me $5 a month to do it. I was off by .30 on a deposit and got hit for $6 correction fee. Practically no locations that are convenient and want $30/ month to have the scanner for check deposits. Every month I look at my $5 statement to see what new fees they invent. I am part of a multi location business based in North Carolina and they are apparently better there so I am forced to use them. Stay away.

If I could give zero stars I would! First Citizens merged with my local bank. I called the customer service number while out of town and the agent said "ma'am this is customer service I have no way to help you, you need to go into a local branch". If I could walk into a local branch I would. Zero help, zero loyalty and zero service.

They charge 8 dollars to cash a check from their bank. No thanks try first market instead. No hidden fees and very friendly prompt service there. This bank took me 20 minutes to get my money. Pain in the behind
