Never have I wrote a review on any company or business. But the experience I received from Midlothian, Goodyear was absolutely horrible.
To start, the reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one was due to them squeezing me in to try to get my car looked at and fixed same day.
Now the bad, to start I came in at opening 8am and told the worker at the front why I'm here (coolant hose leak) and showed him a video I took with my phone exactly where the leak is. He acknowledged the video and stated that it is all just a minor problem, and should be an easy fix. He proceeds to tell me I will need a DIAGNOSTIC ($95) to source the root of my problem so he DOSE'NT fix something that shouldn't be fixed and I don't have to come back, I agreed to it.
The technician then invited me into the bay, where he proceeds to sell me the idea that I have a head gasket leak ($1,000 fix minimum) given labor rates, parts, etc. I called his bluff, and told him to test the coolant pressure, and sure enough BOOM coolant spraying everywhere out of the hose I told him WAS LEAKING THE EINTIRE TIME.
I was then looking at my vehicles coolant getting sprayed all over my engine and wires, etc. Then the technician politely asked me to return to the front where I checked in at. I DEMANDED the diagnostic to be waived/not charged to me given the MISDIAGONSIS of my vehicle, not even close to what was going on with my car, absolutely huge difference.
The worker at the front then decides to draft me up a quote of $316 that included labor rates, new bypass hose (65$) and a coolant flush ($150), and absolute ridiculous things like miscellaneous shop tools, and miscellaneous radiator parts. My radiator didn't need repairing though?
I ended up having the technician put coolant back into my vehicle and denied all services, as the man up front was trying to sell me tires after all of this has happened. I ended up taking it to my buddy who bought the exact hose part for 45$ at O'Reilly's Auto Parts, and new coolant, and flushed it for me. I spent a total of $57 dollars on fixing the problem with my vehicle and runs perfect with not a single drop of coolant leaking. All it took was a new hose, pair of pliers and a flathead screwdriver.
Don't let this place absolutely rip you off and fix things you don't need done.
P.S. : The worker at the front said he didn't catch this problem because he went off of my word of me saying I thought it was a PCV Valve. Basically, blaming the misdiagnosis on me and said if I would've put down that it was a coolant hose leaking instead of a PCV Valve they would've got it right the first time. LIKE IT ISN'T THEIR JOB TO FIGURE OUT IF IT IS OR NOT!
What a joke.

I have used this location for 12 years. At one point I would have rated them a 5 star however in recent years they consistently make promises and fail to meet their own commitments. I have had cars sit for days when they assusred me it would be inspected the initial drop off date. I have recently had service to include a simple oil change and tire rotation to which I was assured two different employees if I would drop it off it would be complete by the end of the day. End of day came and went without it being completed. This location simply fails to meet the commitments it provides to its customers. It gets 2.5 stars on Yelp which is more than it should today. I encourage you to explore other shops which honor their commitments.

Donna Hull and Jacob Happel were great! Had 2 tires replaced. Great attitude and great service. I highly recommend this Good Year Auto Service Shop. Thanks for getting me back on the road so quickly.

Eric Brown the Service Manager was phenomenal!! He helped me when I was in need of an issue of my windshield wipers. It was simple but he took the time and was very patient,kind and understanding in addressing my needs promptly . I highly recommend Goodyear to anyone near Hull Street.

These folks saved the day. Limped in on a donut from out of town and they had my leaky tire patched up and had me on my way in about an hour for $25.

New to area and have 3 cars in need of first inspection and then obvious continuous service. Thought this place would be good based on reviews. I was wrong. Took 1.5 days each to get cars inspected. They seem understaffed or simply resent doing the State Inspections. Regardless, taking my business elsewhere.

We visited this Good Year location on a Sunday afternoon after getting a flat tire and being in a race against the clock to make sure my father didn’t miss his flight. We arrived with no call before and Nick of Good Year saved the day. We said that we only had one hour to spare before we would surely miss the flight, and Nick had it done in only 30 minutes. We received a great deal for two tires and nothing short of excellent service. I cannot recommend him enough.
