Changing my review as we’ve seen them a few times since and they have been generally unhelpful and tried telling us we'd have to pay for services explicitly covered by our warranty.I went in needing to replace a fuse. My wife was going on a trip the next day. I told the service manager the situation and that all I needed was a fuse. He told me they were too busy to give me a fuse and I could bring it back in four days and they would charge me $180 to do a diagnostic check. I went to an auto part store and got a fuse.The big issue was the third time we took our car in for hybrid battery issues they told us we would have to pay to replace it.It was covered under the warranty as it was under the mileage that it was covered for.I gave them pushback and they changed their story that some parts of the service would not be covered. Eventually the story changed again and everything was covered but I didn’t find this out until I went to pick up the car after the service had been complete.Got an oil change and diagnostic check.

I would recommend avoiding Hyundai’s due to paint issues and service centers not wanting to repair known defects. I bought a Hyundai from here 2 years ago, and the paint is peeling on the front hood. Apparently they cover some models from 2016-2017 but my 2020 isn’t covered anymore. I am now stuck with a 1,000 dollar bill to fix it.

Hyundai has continually stalled and obfuscated (for 9 months) to avoid having to replace a RECALLED engine on a family member's 2015 Santa Fe. Shameful corporate behavior, aided and abetted by Pearson Hyundai who will not return calls or emails.

Had my car looked at for issues with stalling at this dealership. They had my car for two weeks, and said that they found absolutely nothing wrong with it. They charge me $160 as a service fee. I pick it up 3 days ago and and within the same day I realize that my alignment is completely messed up. My steering wheel is turned almost 50 degrees to the left in order to drive straight! It was perfect before!! I call back and leave a message and they never get back to me, so today I come in and they say that they 'thought i already knew about that problem'. Obviously i did not know about it because my alignment was fine before i dropped it off. Also, why did they tell me that my car was perfectly fine when apparently they noticed this new issue and decided not to tell me?? Anyways, they say I must have hit something and messed it up myself, and that it will be $1000 for them to fix. Also, apparently I have a month of driving my car like this before I cause extra damage to other parts. The best part is, these parts are not under my warranty. I will be looking into reporting this issue. Please do not get your car serviced here!

I have not been impressed with the service department. You have to be on top of these folks to make sure all the work you want done is done for their communication skills have been less than professional during my processing of my claim.

***ATTENTION for everyone needing their Hyundai Serviced at a Hyundai Dealership in the Richmond Area!!!**I had my vehicle towed here after having CMA Colonial Hyundai keep my vehicle for 8 MONTHS!!! multiple misdiagnosis and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am not exaggerating...Service Team at Pearson was AMAZING!!!! Service Director Melisa made sure that she got on the phone with me with her top tech so they could get a full understanding of what had happened thus far and to provide feedback from what the previous dealership stated. Within 4 hours not only did they PROPERLY diagnose the issue...they were able to fix my car and let me know that everything that the previous dealership tried to say was the likely cause (Interior fuse Box, then ECU, then Shift assembly) was not the problem at ALL!!! They then let me know that a critter had gotten into the engine bay and chewed the wire of one the main harnesses that caused all of the issues. That phone call I mentioned previoualy happened around 9am....my car was ready for pick up by 3pm. I didn't even need a loaner and turns out this is a comprehensive claim under my auto policy as well. If service on my car requires the dealership, PEARSON IS THE ONLY DEALERSHIP I will take my vehicle to. 8 months of extreme frustration with Hyundai consumer affairs getting involved was resolved at Pearson in one day! Shout out to Jason, Crystal, Melissa and the best Hyundai tech (Dont know his name but he figured out my issue) in the region!!They may have a wait time to get to your vehicle and it is for good reason. Take your Hyundai to the right dealership the FIRST time and safe yourself time, energy and hassle knowing it will be fixed RIGHT the first time!Services: Electrical repair

I had my car towed there after an emergency check engine light while on a road trip and they were able to help me out and were very honest and professional! If my car breaks down out of state again I hope it's near this service center.

I think that Hyundai's are poorly made vehicles and the dealers are not equipped to handle the too numerous to count problems with these vehicles. Stay away. There are plenty of good reliable vehicles out there unless you you enjoy spending your days broken down and paying for a rental car. #Hyundaisaretrash

Customer Service was not great and the pricing was even worse. I have been to several car repair shops over the years and have never had one say that to diagnose the problem it would be $150 per light, meaning if I have 3 lights on my dash I would be charges $450 to diagnose what those problems were. I purchased the vehicle from them in 2017 and received the 10 year 100000 mile warranty but of course that did not cover any of the items that needed to be addressed. Very disappointed and will definitely be shopping elsewhere to trade-in or purchase another vehicle.

All four tires had been set at 51 lbs pressure! I noticed the problem after I noticed it was riding differently and when I checked the display. When I took it back they reset all 4 tires to 33 or so lbs.
