Staff ignored us while we browsed the mostly empty fish tanks. Only a few aquatic plants were available, and they didn't look healthy enough to buy. Mammal cages were also mostly empty.

Very clean store. I was a bit disappointed to see so much out of stock tonight in the cat section, but I wont take a star away in case that was the truck or suppliers fault and not an inventory managment issue. Nice people and clean store though. :)

Most of the reptile bugs were dead this time around. Most of the time they are okay ish. Or at least half okay..
It's also super irritating that whenever I go in there the dog food is either not there or moved.

Kristen is a huge asset to this store! Super helpful and a wonderful personality! Very caring and considerate of us and our dogs. A real artist at her craft. She obviously enjoys helping others and likes her job.

This Petco never has any inventory. The shelves are always bare and never has upkeep on their system for reordering. I have a baby lizard, I go each week for crickets... the crickets in the pre packages are dead... and they run out of the live crickets at the register. How does PETCO run out of PET FOOD? I think its time for them to get a new inventory system that monitors more efficiently.

I love this Petco. As an advanced aquarist the fish department guy let's me make special orders and ships in whatever fish I want. It's close by and very friendly to my dog I love it here.

Taylor’s customer service and great communication made my day. I hadnt been able to get my dogs nail trimmed because of how busy the groomers are at this petco and the poor girls there for some reason (probably corporate greed) dont have any bathers to help them ): The website doesnt allow you to schedule nail trims since petco advertises them as a walk in service. Taylor quickly found out for me to call the store and schedule an appointment instead of the website and advised me on what days are typically best for walk ins and appointments. She also talked me through other things they offer at this store and was very apologetic.
Ive lived here for 7 years and I NEVER come to this petco because I hate it with a passion compared to the one down the road, but I might return because of how nice the groomers and taylor were. Maybe if corporations learned to hire more people and bite the bullet on labor budget while rebuilding their customers experience to create store loyalty, theyd have better success. It’s frustrating for consumers and everyone else involved. Just a thought.

This Petco is usually really good but today I was waiting to check out one of the staff members looked at me and went to go talk to her friend instead. I guess my money isn't important at this location. At least someone else finally came and checked me out after five minutes.

Dingy unkept store, fish selection subpar with multiple dead fish in various tanks. By far the worst petco in the chesterfield area save yourself the trouble and go to the petco across from the Walmart. Super friendly staff, spotless tanks and great customer service. I will never go to this one again!

Unfortunately, the new freshwater fish were still in their arrival bags and there wasn't much else to choose from.
