A big thank you to Kaylie for an expert problem-solving. The issue was a bit complicated about finding the perfect foundation match with natural cover and dewy finish but she demonstrated deep product knowledge and offering insightful suggestions. Since i have sensitive skin she not only suggested me the clean products but also suggested some wonderful tinted sunscreen options. She is kind enough to pack me some free samples of the foundation. This is
above and beyond expectation. I even picked up my Birhday Gift. The entire experience was delightful.
If you're looking for a knowledgeable and patient lady at Sephora inside Kohl’s to guide you, then Kaylie is the perfect person.

I came into the store around 8:00 PM on 7/18/25 looking for a specific product. I searched everywhere and couldn’t find it, so I went to the counter to ask an employee for help. From the moment I walked in, I wasn’t greeted, and as soon as I approached the counter, the employees scattered like they were trying to avoid me.
The Black employee with long black hair acted as if she didn’t see me at all—she was fiddling with something under the counter and completely ignored me. The only person who acknowledged my presence was the Caucasian employee, who politely let me know she was currently helping another customer. My question is: why was she the only one who could see me out of the three employees working? Clearly, I wasn’t as invisible as the others made me feel.
I waited at least three minutes to be checked out, despite there being two other employees on the floor. Eventually, I was helped by the Asian employee, who was kind and knowledgeable about the product I needed. She was the only redeeming part of the experience.
That said, I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome—and I honestly never want to step foot in that Sephora again. The behavior of the staff gave the store a horrible reputation in my eyes—rude, uninviting, and unprofessional. This is exactly why I usually shop at Ulta down the street. The only reason I came to this Sephora was because the website said the product was in stock at this location.
Sephora promotes itself as carrying high-end products—please make sure your employees reflect that same high standard of service

Went to this store so I could get the color IQ done just as I always have at any Sephora (Even when they were not stand alone) and was told “we don’t do that”. Waste of time. Go to real Sephora and skip this place.

Decided to browse around tonight and it was my first time at this Sephora. The lady working tonight (her name is Dru) was so joyful and had amazing energy. She made our shopping experience fun and so pleasant. Thank you to the lady for being so kind and helpful.

The previous post is absolutely correct. There were three sales persons conversing at the entrance of Sephora that saw me. I was one of three people in the store; two were together and me. The cashier checked them out, then helped me to find what I wanted. One of the other workers helped another customer, one pretended to look in a drawer and the last one vanished. I am black, two of the workers were Caucasians and the third one that vanished, I am not absolutely sure about. The cashier was black. She was working double duty. Four employees had a chance to assist me, but I had to wait for the cashier. That is a disgrace.

The Sephora staff here definitely don’t treat black customers in a friendly manor. I’ll just have to buy my products online.
