We have donated numerous times to Thrifty Quaker, but never again. Like others, we have encountered the rude woman at the back door. It’s very sad that one person is hurting the reputation of a shop that is trying to do good things. I will no longer shop or donate at Thrifty Quaker.

I loved the varied selection here and great pricing. This is a hunters thrift shop, so make sure you have time to look. Everyone I encountered was exceptionally kind and very friendly to my children as well. I will definitely be back and am so glad I stumbled across this spot.

The customer service here is always, always, flawless. The clothes and selections of items are inspirational I never walk out of here empty handed and for the price? If I could I'd buy the whole store but my husband is already mad at me for coming home with so much upcycled clothing! This is heaven on earth for yours truly.

Best thrift store with the best prices, run by the best staff! P.S. The requirement of masks is a right reserved by the establishment, just like how some establishments require masks to be taken off.

The Thrifty Quaker is a hidden gem. The selection of women’s clothing, shoes and accessories is phenomenal. Lots of options for men and children’s clothes as well.They have a nice selection of jewelry, household items and books as well as craft supplies. The staff is very friendly and helpful, don’t miss out!

My wife and I have been donating to Thrifty Quaker for several years adding up to hundreds if not thousands of dollars in merchandise. I went to donate more items the other day and the grumpy older woman mentioned in some of the other reviews came to back drop-off area to do the intake. We were donating several boxes of items and a very nice pastel drawing which had a cracked glass. She didn’t want the drawing which is understandable. But when I asked if I could dispose of it in the dumpster, you would have thought that I was asking for the moon. She went on a tirade about how much money the dumpster costs them. I politely reminded her that my wife and I have donated items on which they have made lots of money over the years and I was just asking for a little bit of reciprocity. Well, we have now found another charity to which we donate. You don’t get to treat people anyway you like and think that they are going to come back for a second helping.
