I have nothing but good things to say. The staff there is always amazing and the branch manger was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on loan services and just everything banking. I would highly recommend doing business here.

Bank experiences can be tough but it turns out working with this credit union is tougher. My first experience was attempting to get an auto loan and the underwriters had trouble figuring out my income it took over a week and a half, multiple phone calls and me going out and getting a back up loan before they approved my auto loan. Thank god the auto dealer worked with me! The second time was when I was looking into a commercial loan that they say clearly on their website they do. I figured after my first experience I should call ahead explain what I wanted to do and make sure they could do it. I was told the loan shouldn’t be a problem let’s just talk to the main office underwriting. Well after three days I had to reach out to them and they didn’t have an answer, “they were still looking into whether they did these loans”. I waited an additional three days and called back same answer, “we are looking into it”. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VACU. A bank would treat you better.

ATM always seems to be out of order , so I have to drive down hull to the other location to deposit cash. Customer service inside branch is ok.

Yesterday they approved fraudulent charges on my account for nearly $200, now holding the money until a 10 day investigation is done by an outside company. Zero leeway to reconcile the funds in time for my auto loan payment which is now due in 2 days.I should have left when the teller deposited my paycheck into a stranger’s account, forcing me to rush into a branch Saturday morning to have it deposited to my account. This is the last time yall. I’m moving my money somewhere safer.

Used to be good but now if your debit or credit card has to be replaced due to fraud and you want it as soon as possible they will charge you 20 bucks. If you do not choose the faster service good luck on getting your new card in the next year

Made mistake in depositing & transferring my funds into my accounts- If the person was training then someone should have checked the deposits had been made correctly- don't you think? Go figure! Also banker forgot to return my 2 IDs. Odd- where was this banker's focus?

My overall experience hasn't been the best since joining VACU. With this branch in particular they have only one ATM which I'd often out of order.I've personally had the ATM keep both my cash deposit and my card! Which resulted in having to wait for a new card to be sent.What's worse is the reason I joined this credit union is because I heard great things about them when it comes to obtaining a mortgage loan. However, I've only recieved very poor communication from the mortgage loan officer assigned to me.While they've been working to fix issues.... I'm just getting tired of running into the issues to be fixed.
