Very disappointed on the level of service at this branch office. I came in to discuss financial options regarding a Roth IRA and some investments I wanted to make. There were two tellers at the window and one manager in an office. I waited about 10 minutes at a seat when one of the tellers told me she could help me. I told her I had sensitive financial information to discuss and specific investments options and wanted to talk to someone in an office. She advised that she could help me and I did not need an office. *Note the was a manager in an office doing paperwork.
I said I would find another financial institution to handle my banking needs.
Management needs to be addressed.

All my experiences at the Winterfield Crossings Branch Virginia Credit Union have been very awesome and experience. I love the Winterview Pkwy location everyone inside and in the drive thru are very nice to me. This will always been my go to location since it is close to my apartment. Yay❤️

Not only did the credit union allow my account to be accessed from a debt I didn’t owe they send me a check stub with no check attached as they continue to let unauthorized transaction be approved they are giving me daily overdraft fees ALL UNAUTHORIZED BYE ME! When I was made aware initially I told them to close the account it’s been compromised instead they keep it open give me fees and haven’t communicated anything more than a bank statement!been a customer for 20 years NEVER AGAIN will I trust a financial institution with my hard earned money especially tried and tire vacu!

Long lines, never enough employees.
Came in to get a replacement card, had to wait 15 minutes just to be told the machine was down
At no point during my 15 minute wait did any of the tellers announce this even though there were knowingly several people besides myself in line for replacement cards
Waste of time and ignorance!

I've been here twice and both were good experiences. The first time was for a technical issue; the associate brought me into a meeting room, made a couple calls, and got it sorted. The second time I went in for a simple request. I was greeted promptly, had my request filled, and left within about 2 minutes. Both associates were pleasant and respectful. Glad to be nearby as I can trust them to help me when needed.

Winterfield Crossing branch has given excellent service inside and in the drive thru. Not nearly as crowded as some other branches. They even have a coin counter available for loose change. Pleasent and helpful staff treat members like members.

Horrible experience obtaining a home equity loan. Non-responsiveness from their processing center and nearly impossible to reach your loan officer since there is just one shared general inbox.

I have always had great service whenever I have used this branch. I never have to wait for service and have always been treated well. I'm surprised by the negative reviews posted here.

Honestly, I stopped in because I needed money and coin wrappers and I live in the apartments on Winterfield so this was convenient…denied bc I don’t bank with them…which is crazy. Who’s to say I wasn’t going to wrap the money and open an account here? I’ve worked in banks and never have I ever denied someone money and coin wrappers bc they didn’t bank at my bank. So, clearly I won’t be taking the money there to open…. It’s no wonder why they were swindled out of money by their own employees…smh

If I could give zero stars, I would.
I have banked with VACU for going on three years. I had recently decided not to continue using them as I found their mobile banking difficult to use and navigate and some other minor concerns around interest rates. In the past, I had always found their stand alone branches to be a huge plus as employees are usually professional, polite, and helpful in my interactions with them.
However, after visiting this location to make payments on remaining bills (bc their mobile banked app would not allow me to do so) I have completely changed opinions on their customer service.
I was greeted and sat and given a form to complete. I was then left alone, in the open, to complete confidential paperwork. I noticed that all their other customers were situated in private rooms and were actually having one on one conversations with their bankers. And there were plenty of vacant rooms available too. Not only was I not offered the access to a private space to complete the necessary paperwork behind my requests, but I had to ask for assistance on more than one occasion. The “banker” that assisted me merely threw a form at me and left me to do the work without her assistance. She never asked me if I had any questions or even checked in with me. It was humiliating, as I was the only customer being treated this way. I felt profiled, and that did not make me feel safe.
Halfway through the process, the store manager stepped in. Although she and one of the tellers were able to assist me without issue, I was still disheartens and disappointed with my experience at this location.
My advice: If you want to bank with quality professionals that treat all their customers with equal respect, then avoid coming to this VACU location.

The drive thru staff, particularly the lady who normally wears her hair back and appears to be Asian is wonderful and pleasant. However, the staff indoors when doing business inside the bank is horrid. Terrible customer service, very slow and no clear guidance of what is going on or what line is for what service. I hate having to do business inside. Sticking to drive thru from now on. Service has seriously gone down hill.
