I was in town visiting my MIL and I made an appointment for a dip manicure. My appointment was at 11:00 am.
I waited about 10-15 min and was seen by Tina to do my dip manicure. She started taking off my old dip and I noticed that she didn’t remove all of it. She left a layer on. I asked her why she wasn’t removing all of it and she said it was the top coat and it would be fine. I said I had these on for 4 weeks already and it was starting to lift and chip and I asked her if it would peel up when she added the new powder and she said no it wouldn’t. After I questioned her she started getting fairly rough with the dremel tool on my nails and said she would take itall off if I wanted her to. I said I trusted her and honestly I knew better.
She was sloppy with applying the new powder and the finished product was high on the edges of my nails and flat in the middle of each nail. I’m 8 days into this manicure and as predicted several of the nails are lifting and peeling at the edges because she didn’t remove all of the previous dip.
I felt very rushed and she was very distracted. I felt she pushed me out quickly so she could take care of a bridal party that was next for her seat. She was going to work on the bride. Anyway. I do not recommend this salon if you’re visiting Moneta VA.

Great nail salon for a relaxing experience and professional mani/pedi. Everyone is friendly and the prices are comparable to other local salons.

Love love love! This is my new go to salon. I have been to several since being in Virginia. This place was clean, so friendly, quick, and great prices. I will be coming back for sure. Thank you for a great experience.

First time I went to this salon and it will be my last time !! Quoted a price of $45 for a mani and pedi. I chose basic gel polish and it was $70
Both were done extremely hastily and sloppy. Fingernails were not painted fully in spots and toes were cut wrong.

My mom and I came in today to get our nails done and a pedicure. All of the staff was very nice and the man who did my nails (uncle Barry) was really funny too. They massaged our legs with hot rocks and did such a beautiful job on both of our nails. We will definitely be coming back!

I came here because my family swears by it. I unfortunately had a horrible experience. I came in to get a gel manicure. I have naturally long nails and get them done every few weeks. The man I was sat with took my old manicure off and was too rough and made them too thin. The gel was put on unevenly and couldn’t do the design I asked for. I got a French tip and the tip had a bump because the gel was so uneven. My nail broke three days later. The good thing is, they didn’t charge a lot so I was extremely upset. If you go here, be sure to know who is doing your nails.

I never write a review but I’m steaming when I look down at my toenails. My neighbor recommended this tech.i had an appointment but I waited 20 minutes for her to finish someone else. She rushed me through. Skipped steps scrubbing feet hot towel and I believe coats of polish. Not even filed evenly . A 10 year old would have done better. I guess her next customers were more important. Paid her $25 for toenails $10 for her to cut my nails and just file 5 minutes if that and I gave her $10 tip never came out to check if my nails were dry. Maybe third time is a charm so I will try one more time.not at all a relaxing time for $45

My daughter and I booked recent appointments together at Modern Nails and she was seated promptly but I waited 35 mins for my nail tech. He then rushed through my pedicure in order to catch up. This is a popular salon but also busy and noisy, not at all a relaxing experience and not customer focused. I left that day with callouses and hurt feelings and will not be back.

First time visiting this salon, they all were very welcoming. Heidi did my toes for me & they turned out great. She was so nice. The price was great as well. Excited to find my new nail place since recently moving to the area.

I called ahead & asked if I could come in 30 min. They said sure, c’mon. When I walked in they took me right away, no wait. Kathy gave me a wonderful pedicure. She was extremely friendly & I was delighted with her hot stone & oil massage. This was my first visit since moving here in 2020 & I was extremely pleased with the service after being disappointed with another local salon recently. All the techs were friendly & having a good time with each other which means it’s a great place to work. It was very clean & I felt very comfortable. I will definitely return (and request Kathy) & recommend them to all my friends.

I have had my nails done for years. This is the first place that I’ve ever gotten nail fungus on basically all my nails. I’ve had to use topical medicine and antibiotics to get rid of this issue. Beware!
