Amazing leadership by Matt and Robbie, they knew exactly how to make everyone feel right at home out there. I highly recommend coming and riding, specifically Rocko, that horse is so chill and cooperative. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The ride was a blast! The farm was beautiful, as was the scenery! The lead wrangler in charge was awesome, and our guide went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our ride. The only constructive criticism I could offer is making a group feel cohesive when it’s a large group. My two friend and I were the only “clients”, everyone else was a professional or owner of a horse. We felt like we were a younger sibling allowed to tag along…like our guide was trying to make it a great experience but many others in the group were dismissive and just ignored us while talking about the business of horses and using lingo we wouldn’t understand. And I tried asking questions and was told “I wouldn’t expect you to know what that means.” And that is just constructive criticism for a business trying to grow, because overall it was a great time and I’d love to go back, although I would hope for a different group.

My husband and I went on an evening ride with Matt and Robbie. It was the most beautiful sunset ride. It had been years since either of us had rode a horse and they were so helpful in making us feel comfortable and ready for our trail ride. They even asked us questions to make sure we were paired with horses that would be the best fit for each of us. Rocco and Nyx (the horses) were so sweet and made the experience amazing. They also take photos for you which is such a thoughtful gesture! When we are back in Virginia we will definitely be back for another ride!

Amazing experience at Spring Valley Farm in Franklin County, VA! Matt, our wrangler, was fantastic....friendly, knowledgeable, and made the valley hack unforgettable.
I rode Rocco, who showed me the gentle yet powerful spirit of the American horse, while Robbie bravely handled the ill-tempered Haflinger with a smile. Beautiful scenery,
Well-cared-for horses, and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Went as part of a friends group, and we had a great experience! Horses were well kept and happy, staff were amazing too - especially Matt and Roby (hope I wrote your name right). My horse - Judy - was just the perfect horse for me!

Went on a trailride with my party of 6 and we had the best time ever! Our guides Matt and Robbie were helpful and fun to be around. Honestly, every person who worked there was so friendly.
Matt matched me with Camila, who was the sweetest girl ever and was so patient with me during our ride.
I would recommend Spring Valley a million times and will definitely return again! I'm looking forward to seeing the photos from our adventure. 🩵

The horses are so beautiful and ride so well. The staff is incredible. They love the horses and are great at teaching you how to have a very enjoyable ride. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back again.

We had an 8am ride today and had a fantastic time. Matt and the other guides are super helpful and understanding of nervous riders! Gracie was also a beautiful companion today. 10/10 recommend!
